Lol. I ended up backpurging. Fitment was tighter than expected. So after the 5th time cutting tacks and refitting. I wasn't going to take it apart again to put solar flux on.

Another day another item off the list. Oil cooler lines done. Very simple. Zip ties will be replaced with hose separators when the show up. I might add one more p-clamp when the engine is out, but I cant get the rivnut gun in right now.

Oh and if you look closely you can see the sooper secret SADFab motor mounts that will someday maybe eventually get into production

The NVH is probably worse because the poly is smaller, but they don't require you to replace the engine plate. Which means they are 1.6 and 1.8 compatible (as you can see here, they started on my 1.6 and are now on my 1.8)

Just make them take a miata control arm size or something so you can put your rubber in there when you put poly bushings in.

There is literally only one off the shelf bushing that works for this, and even it has to be modified. To make these fit so that they only replace the rubber part, requires you keep all the diameters very small.

I'd consider reusing it, but it's a $15 China probe, and is 5mm, which is annoying. I'll probably snag another one from diyautotune.

Being that a thermocouple is based on a metallurgical junction between 2 different metals, only the very tip of the wire where that junction is matters for operation.
That bend isn't going to have any effect on the sensor itself.

Yeah, but again its a china sensor of unknown quality. I'm not horribly concerned about accuracy, but mystery metal melting into my turbo is not high up on my to-do list.

Just working on more small things. Got my reroute hose secured everywhere. I used to have it just laying over the shock tower, but I never really liked that. Its now secured in 3 places and shouldn't rub anywhere.
