Unless it snaps
My grandpa passed earlier this week so I've been dealing with all that but I took the whole week off and might try and get the car running by the end of the weekend. I miss this car a lot lol

Got it halfway buttoned up. It's hot here, and I fucked my ankle up so things go slowly.
Got the coolant burped and exhaust installed. Need to do a bolt check and get it back on the ground before a test drive.
Hopefully track day on the 2nd.

Car drove today. Smokes when you get on the gas after engine braking....so I just shift into neutral.
Probably tired rings but I don't care at this point. It's nice to have a running car again.

T00ning question.
Old setup was 8.6 weisco pistons, new setup is 99-00 stock pistons. (so 9.5:1?)
How much timing should I pull as a base map. I was thinking 5* in boost. 3* out of boost?

Should have clarified. I meant pulling timing in boost.
I'm going to knock a few degrees out under 100kpa, but mostly i care about 0-5psi.

Pulled some timing in the midrange, trying to keep torque low on stock rods.
150kpa will make 200ft/lbs, so I'm staying below that for track duty.
