Downpipe bracket. Bolts to the trans before the DP goes in. Then the band clamp bolts to the bracket. Very secure, easy to install. I like it
Tonight I tackled something that had been bugging me forever. The cadillac hose had always just kind of flopped around on the shelf. So I got out some aluminum pipe. And of course I had to weld it, a hose wont do.
I'll finish welding it later tonight, but basically its a short straight hose on the back of the head, and the front part of the cadillac hose in front.
Ugh, got my new LSU 4.9 hooked up to the LC-2. And got an error. Error 4 Pump open. Do some research, possible bad sensor. Go to the amazon listing I bought it from...there is a review from a guy who hooked it up to his LC-2 and got the same error. Return label created.
For some reason I thought you could buy the LSU 4.9 sensor in stores, but I guess its online only. Oh well learned my lesson. Always buy from reputable vendors.
If anyone knows if you can buy an LSU 4.9 sensor in stores please post up. I would love to be able to buy one in a hurry if needed.
Been searching for this for way too long. Have given up and am asking the hive mind.
Where can I buy more of this reinforced vacuum line. Its 4mm ID (5/32), and about 11mm OD. It came with the EFRs I have and I cannot find it anywhere else.

I've run into the same damn issue when my sensor crapped out. The only solution I can see is to buy a spare connector harness for the LSU 4.2, which is readily available at pretty much any auto parts store because Audi/VW's use them. I don't think the 4.2 is as nice of a sensor though. Total price for a harness from DIY + a new 4.2 sensor is ~$100.
I have the 4.2 cable from my old setup, so i could always keep that around. But I don't really care. Once the tune is right I can just turn off EGO if it craps out, and be fine.

A new 4.9 sensor solved the problem.
I bought a $50 4.2 to have as a spare for my LC-2. May never need it.
Made my last water line today. I'm pretty much out of things to do now until the motor arrives. Might get the spare pulled out tomorrow, or might wait a bit longer in case anything else comes up.
