Pretty sure it will be.
That tube layout and twin scroll is what all the people making a LOT of power are running (on other cars). And when I say a lot I mean more than almost all miatas

Not sure if this was mentioned before. Is this going to be internally wastegated? There's nothing to be seen for an external. Reasons?

yes! BorgWarner EFR 8374 twin scroll! Their internal wastegate is the cats-***! As it is, I will be running a 4" exhaust, so no issues there either! Going with the good old KISS rule! (keep it simple stupid)

I don't remember if Fae is running a twin-scroll mani, I think he just has a quick-spool valve.

Had a cheap china-charge around that put it on the manifold with one bolt! Manifold is pretty much done. Some welding is still required, but waiting for a smaller TIG torch to arrive! Will start the rest of the exhaust tomorrow.

What are great looking project. I love the updates.

What pipe are you using for the manifold? Also, do you have any plans for bracing or a crane?

Thank you!
It is schedule 10 stainless. Yes I will have a crane on the T4 flange. Have to figure out where. The EFR turbo is on back-order, so I will figure that out once it gets here to make sure there is enough room!

Well there is going to be a box made around the muffler with gold shielding. We have done it before and it works well!

I've made sure there is plenty of room between those and the exhaust. I will most likely wrap the exhaust there too as the flex will go there!

What do you guy recommend as far as a crane setup? I have seen a few, but what are your experience?

I thought it was against many racing organizations' rules to have exhaust components inside the driver's compartment at all. I am certain it was in ChumpCar (who copies others' safety guidelines) and I think it is in NASA but I haven't looked yet. I won't bother to look through 1800 pages of SCCA rules.

Just a heads up, that's all.

It's not in the driver's compartment. It will have a box around it and separated! We have done this before on multiple cars!

Well the exhaust is all done and welded. Only piece required will be an elbow from the turbo to the flex when the turbo shows up!
