I use real nice serrated flange bolts that are 1-1/4" long, but I use 1/8" thick washers under the caliper mounting bolts. That gets you the ideal 1-1/8" length. 1-1/8" bolts are hard to find at a good price.

Ace is the place to rape your face. Like 15$ for all the hardware. Wilco farm is my favorite. You buy grade 8 by the lb.

I found 1.25" non serated flange bolts for 1.15 compared to ace's $1.70 shenanigans.

I bought all four, they have no more. Fckin' fantastic.

At least you realized you bought 400. I would have bought 4 thinking they were 23 each

For all of you small garaged jealous people. I have now emptied 2 pickup loads of stuff (8 foot bed) into my garage. And still have room for the truck and Miata. And extra space.

You go to hell, sir!

Mostly because I know EXACTLY how big that pickup actually is. I don't think my dentside would fit in my garage if it were empty.

Yeah, the 3an taper seat cracked. The entire line is toast, the adapter in the caliper is alright.

Damn I've never heard of that failure on a AN fitting before. I always figured the threads would strip before that happened! How tight were you torquing it?

Yeah, I've never broke an AN fitting like this before. I think the brake line was defective, because I wasn't on it all that hard, just a little stubby 11mm wrench, nothing crazy.

More awesome landlord news. Has a 3 bay shop, 2 post lift. Bridgeport mill, 2 lathes, and is a machinist by trade. Has an at truck from the 50s and we already went for a ride in it. Literally life idol lol.
