This was about my 3rd attempt. First 2 got sold out from under me and a few were gone already. I'm glad I ended up with this one. Seems like old quality stuff, instead of new junky stuff.

They're all about the same. Search for the .pdf on how to tune them up to cut straight. If they are adjusted right, they are pretty decent. If not, you will tear your hair out in frustration.

Here it is: https://wiki.artisansasylum.com/imag...ng_-_rev-1.pdf

Looking for opinions.
Would a 2001 6spd MT with 3.9 Torsen be worth $900 and a 6hr car ride?
I have a 2003 4.3 Fuji diff that is making noise, was looking for a Torsen when I found this. Also want to double check that I would not need to change axle shafts if I swap the diff.

That's a decent price. No you don't need new axle shafts

It is a horrible deal. PM me details on it and I will take it so you don't have to.

I sold my last 3.9 torsen, axles, and drive shaft for $900. So I would jump on that deal personally.

So the wife won't let me get them...
My loss could be your gain. Parts are at the LKQ in Salisbury, NC.
Might want to see if they are still doing the 40% sale. This could be a great buy for someone with the funds/time.

When you actually pull up the part, it lists the transmission as 6spd and the differential as locking. I assume the only locking diff on a 6spd from 2001 would be the 3.9 torsen.

Sorry to dump **** on your build thread... I actually thought it was a community build page. Figured it would be a good place to ask about parts.

I honestly don't have the time to get up and grab them. My next few weekends are booked, and I already have 1 spare 6 speed in my garage, not sure why I need a second spare at this moment. But I am passing the info onto some friends in the NC area.

I've gotten over a thousand pieces of email a day for about the last two decades, I can't even imagine how anyone could have a device that alerts every time one arrives.

Gmail's inbox filtering does a pretty good job of filtering useful emails.
