Does anyone know the difference between oil pan seal sets. I believe they are different between NB1 and NB2. I have 2 sets of seals an an NB2 pan. So not sure what to use.
Those are NB1 seals, assuming they are OEM. They have a flat, thin edge on each side. NB2 seals are thicker and have a contoured edge with a little cutout which fits into the notch on the MBSP. The extra thickness accounts for the added thickness of the MBSP. On the NB1, the windage tray nests into a notch in the pan.

As per usual, Andrew is right.
Dug around in my gasket box and found a 3rd set of pan seals

Set on the left are NB2 seals. 2 sets on the right are NB1 pan seals.
I have too much ****.

Somehow I managed to sneak some time in the garage this weekend. And spent basically all of it fabing a turbo brace. I forgot how long this **** takes. But I think it turned out well so far.
Start with some CAD.

Then trace it

Then plasma cut it

And grind it

Then bend it

Get some 347 bar stock

Cut out the edges

Add gussets

Take a break and pull the oil pan off your other motor and find bad things.
