Do you have a mouse problem?! What the actual ****. Something fucked that seal up GOOD.
And do you have a clutch stop setup on your pedal? Not sure if the twin disc needs it, but it might be putting excess stress on that pivot pin. Which shouldn't be breaking.

It's more than an install problem. It was like deteriorated. And only on the bottom. Supper fuckered. I cleaned it out good and reinstalled.
Yes to twin disc, yes to clutch stop. I'm going to re-adjust it before driving next time though, make sure nothing is wrong.
4 hours for a RMS replacement. Not bad.

I lay on my back. Put the trans on my chest. Hold the tailshaft housing with my knees and bench the trans up. Line things up and slam it in.
Use the bell housing bolts to pull it in tight.

That's exactly what didn't work for me. Ohhhh well.
Also, for science, soak a seal in whatever you flushed your motor with in a jar for about a week. Just to see what it do.

I use a 2 post lift with a trans jack. In case anyone wants to be jealous. Trans out in 45 minutes with a simple NA and straight shot clutch line. NBs have a few more minutes of braces. straight shot clutch lines take a few of the brackets out of the way.

Find a junker driveshaft and cut the trans side off. It acts as an oil plug so you dont have to dump the fluid at all, when pulling trans, and you use it with the trans in 5th or 6th to line up the input shaft.
