Hey, Desi, you say, "Lucy, where are you?" I keep being bueno to you. By the way, it would be "Easy there, come pinga," or similar.

Um, right.

Think about it this way...

Your car not running is prolonging its life span. When driveable, the car will be crashed. Typical cuban miata style.

buffon01 04-29-2010 01:34 PM

Bond- :jerkit:

   @ thread tittle change

webby459 04-29-2010 03:27 PM

Hey buffuck, keep us posted on you oil leak. Maybe you want to clean up the bay and run it while checking for leaks. Check out CAS, VC worms that go over the cam humps or the vc itself. Also, you confident with the oil line you ran for turbo, if you did that already?

For some reason, when I read this thread, I want to help you, like you're my leetle brother. You are a thick skinned Cubano, that's for sure, mang.

viperormiata 04-29-2010 04:04 PM

Dude, I knew you were Cuban!

Lol, that sucks.

buffon01 04-29-2010 04:06 PM

This fucking blows I had already planned to have all this shit bolted by sunday so I could send the car to the exhaust shop during the week.

Hey viper, where the pics??

webby459 04-29-2010 09:56 PM

Welcome to the "it takes longer than I thought" club.

I had dyno, chassis setup, then test and tune all lined up one day after the other. The only one I missed was test and tune :vash:. I'm still recovering, one week later.

This may or may not be related, but tonight I saw ZZTop and they were awesome, unlike this thread.

I'm thinking about making a thread soon on the topic. It's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I didn't use any molding techniques. Just super clean razor blade cuts and diy brackets. Then I used black weather stripping to make the seal. Easy as can be, but as I found out yesterday, it is a bit brittle.

RipStik ftw
