Ok here are the pics of the datalog this morning

1. No one commented on my HG theory
2. My ground for the WB is the one under the heater hose. Good?Bad?
3. WB connections seem fine. I dont have a camera so no pictures :( what could be the reason of my constant 14.7 afr

Ah ha.

Anyway, does Spliftime and JayL use the Mx00, or the SM/DM deal that I have? If they do, you need to get in touch with them. If not...

What the hell are the chances this kid is getting 2.35V dead from a random source, telling his stuff he's at stoic? I was getting 3.3V from my PLX controller, so it was reading like a 16.5 afr into MS consistently. That was pretty easy to diagnose, I did while the car was being transported to me before I even laid eyes on it. This is a different matter.

Desi (Buffon), grabbing the ground from the engine/chassis lug there is ok, it's best if it shares the ground with your MS. If not, it certainly won't just read stoic, the figures between your MS and your gauge will just be a little off from one another. I'll repeat, did you check your connection(s) from your WB controller to the sensor itself. I really gotta think this is where your trouble is.

Quit working on your dingy and check all your connections twice or three times. You will biff yourself once you find your problem, it'll be something simple.

Hey Arnaz, 240 to Miata has a PLX, too, hit him up for info.

maybe the heater isnt working?

buffon01 04-28-2010 10:21 PM

I'll check the connections. Also could it be a bad sensor??

tyson87 04-28-2010 10:24 PM

turn the ignition on but dont crank the car, put ur finger on the sensor and see if its hot

tyson87 04-28-2010 10:26 PM

hot means its heating up.

u should call PLX to ask what they think

buffon01 04-29-2010 09:58 AM

After talking to JayL it looks like is a bad sensor. Im ordering. Updtaes later. Im still leaking btw :vash:

tyson87 04-29-2010 10:05 AM

maybe the oil is coming from that bolt on the side of the block where the old ac compressor bracket was.
there is a video somewhere of kotomile i nthink, scott has the info on it.

Braineack 04-29-2010 10:07 AM

kotomile's video was reposted like 2 days ago.

buffon01 04-29-2010 10:24 AM

^Dude, go back to boat building, you are fucking killing me. I vote for your PLX not even being hooked up/plugged in, you are such a dumbfuck.

Braineack 04-29-2010 10:57 AM
