178.4mph @ 8000RPM. 189.5 @ 8500RPM I think I would want to do some downforce mods before attempting that. I do have limits for my risk tolerance. FYI most of the times I was close to death were not by my conscious choice!

No. While I have MT drag radials sitting on wheels in the garage, I will not be doing a hard launch at the strip. Those drag radials are for street destruction as needed. We will see what happens with the RS3 at more boost.



I hope to see well over 130mph. With a 4 second 60ft lol Like Sean, my goal is 13s 1/4 mile @ 150+mph

 

BTW scott if we go to capital or whatever together i want to line up against you and get video. I think it may look very interesting. Small "street friendly" turbo vs. "bear raping" turbo. If we launch similarly, power under the curve should show nicely.

Regarding my daily, I think I will just buy another high mileage forester for around $6000 and move all my mods over and sell the one with the blown engine for $2000. I will buy a manual.

Much cheaper than $35,000 for a 335d.

370 will feel just dandy come spring and e85.

I don't intend to go any higher than that. Might as well get an STi and go for 500+ at that point, which disqualifies it from daily driver status.

 

I have to buy yet another turbo. What do you think i should get? Lets say 300-320hp. 16g? I dont want any more power mods than what i already have- sti ic and 3" dp and exhaust.

lopsided turbos like the hta68 need a ton of boost to perform good. also anything with a 7cm hotside crap on a 2.5 IMO.
On pump gas, with no meth, if you want a HONEST 300-320 like me why not just replicate my setup? td06 20g 8cm of your choice or td06 18g 8cm of your choice. 750-1000 injectors. the rest you already have. You can even push yours harder if you want since you have way better gas than our **** CA 91 and probably get 330-340.
on pump gas a 16g or hta68 is better suited for the 2L's

This makes no sense to me. The link to the GSXR 1/4 mile time I posed said it did a high 9 second pass @ 148mph. Why would your car be 3 seconds faster and have the same approx trap speed?

a buddy of mine has a fast miata on some cheap crappy tires. he spins every gear besides 6th. ran the quarter 12.0 @ 127. Spun LITERALLY the whole way down the track. fae is a big fan of his, because he beat a liter bike and a corvette zr1 in his car. all he does is highway roll on street racing.

so fae will probably go to the track and spin his **** off to a 13.0 @ something insane like 140.
