I was wondering wtf happened to your car/build. Thought you just disappeared
Glad its finally underway again.

You better take pics/vids this time, for the love of whatever it is that is holy to you.

And this should be interesting: lets see who will actually put down over 500 first

See, this is what happened, I went to check my ***** to see how hard they were going to clang at the dyno as I ran "all of it" then I realized that I have been pretending all along and found that all I have is a huge vagina where my man parts should be.

I recall the Torsens being reliably good up to 300whp. But I can't remember/find my reference for that.

If Wile E. Coyote were to build a turbo miata, he would build allofit.

It's not HP its Tq that eats up diffs and transmissions

Yep. What torque capacity is the 7" miata diff? Will Fae blow that before anything else?

And More importantly, do I need to upgrade it to a v8 swap style diff?

I don't think he will have any issues with the diff because that torque has passed the transmission. His turbo doesn't build enough boost in 1st gear and not even full boost in second. So yah.

Not sure, I also think how you plan to drive has much to do with longevity. If you are dumping the clutch from a dig then you will undoubtedly blow a diff if you are going wot from a 40 mph roll then run the stock unit.

Ok you cokswaddlers today was not meant to be. I sold my blown up old forester xt daily to some fukkr from Michigan who came down with a trailer and was 8 hours late. Had to wait around all day so dyno would not have happened even if my car was ready. Getting paid takes precedence over dynofest.

I installed an NA alternator which sucks to replace my fresh nb alt that died within 1 mile. Wonderful. Will try rx7 alt next.

Hingstonmwmf just for you i jb welded in my oil drain bung today since i had downtime. Jb just to "do it wrong".

Tim I run the torsen but as soviet says i spool very slow and also only occasionally launch at 10psi with no strip launches. Your tq and setup will hit harder and earlier than mine but unless you are mean to your car it will prob be fine.

All u guys are so hateraids but at least i know someone wuvs me!!! <3

I don't know how shops work out there, but here in colorado dyno time is hard to come by so unless you know the shop very well you have to put down a non refundable deposit which is forfueted unless you give enough notice of cancellation.

Really?

I just have to call and give a day's notice, but I was introduced to the guy through an older friend so I sorta have a "in" I guess.

Failflora will eventually get the car on the dyno, then the weakened sawzalled frame rail will be his weak point on the car and the chassis will crack. You know what they say, "bad things happen to bad people".
