Faelflora breaks his promise, time to part out car. GIT THE SAWZALL!
I heard rumors that the engine will be pulled Thursday so that a real bung can be welded onto the oil pan. So I would guess sometime in 2014 the car will be dynoed.

Otay guys. I am pulling my motor today. I think.
From day one, my motor has experienced pretty low oil pressure. This is because I have a non-vvt billet-geared oil pump paired up with my VVT motor. When the oil is hot, my gauge says I have like 3psi at 1000rpm. :| At 2000RPM I have 20psi, 3000RPM, 30psi, and it plateaus out at around 35-45psi.
Who thinks I should swap out the pump for a billet gear vvt pump while the motor is out? I mean, oil is obviously flowing, but this has always made me nervous.

So.
I have figured out a way to deal with my fuckye up drain.
I am gonna put a npt plug in the current hole which is about 6 inches back from the front
And then drill and tap pan at the standard spot teo inches from the back. Done.
Should have done this three months ago.
Current spot sucks too cus oil drain is only two inches long now.
