My only concern is updating and then completely ******* up my t00n, then no start sadness.I did this probably twice, maybe 5 years ago with my DIYPNP while chasing my tail for months due to an internal hardware failure. I remember there were jumpers and command line shenanigans. I will figure it out, but it'll probably push me out of my comfort zone. This is probably not a bad thing.

I'll push your comfort zone.
No jumpers or **** needed on MS3 (unless Revs unit is weird)
I've been flashing all the 1.4 betas. Takes like 5 minutes.

******' Miatas. I don't want to lose any of my vents for gauges, but it sounds like i can't get 3x Accutechs and a wideband in view without doing that or throwing some stuff on top of the dash, which i hate doing.
Yes, IQ3. Was used for about... 10 minutes in the ill-fated Escort.
If you don't buy it, i'm going to sell my Megasquirt and use it with a Haltech again and suffer the wrath of MiataTurbo.

Replacement VEI senders just hit my desk. I'm now $444 into the VEIs, $614 if you include the MTX-L I bought when I got frustrated with the VEI wideband display.
^^ This is why you never look at the receipts.

At $700, buy the IQ3, real dash integration >> gauges. I love my Mychron (except it's aversion to speed and tach on the display at the same time).
And yes, Geoff needs a dash. I had no idea how fast I was going. Combine that with the fact that the car isn't exactly subtle, and my license was worried.

I still have not driven that thing, and for good reason.
If for whatever reason the sky opened and $7500 dropped in my lap I'd buy an Exocet, turn the NB into a shell, SB100 the **** out of it and advance to my glorious turbo powered street legal emissions free future.

Actually, hold on a sec, I'm having terrible ideas again.
Jesus christ, that's just under $7000 and I haven't even parted out the tub.
What's a perfect, non salvage title NB tub sans subframes worth these days?
- Hardtop is easily $750-$1000 if sold during winter.
- I've got a set of perfect GenIII Bronze 15x9 6UL w/tires I can sell for maybe $700?
- I technically have an entire spare BP4W I won't need after this, so $500+ right there.
- If the market stays decent this year, I'm looking at maybe $4~5k bonus
