I just did an 80 mile loop on the highway up to KC. Passing people on the highway is fun.

I bet the cheap summit AN fittings are made in the same factory as the ebay junk, which leaked profusely for me.

Do they make steel hose AN fittings? I'd imagine they work the same way? I have a few steel AN fittings on my oil feed and they seal great.

Check out EO2K's build thread. He shows some that look like they are build your own STEEL (or SST) on flex.

I fuking love craigslist
came with- Intake mani, header, ps pump, ac comp, alternator, coil pack and fucked up wires, most of the harness, motor mounts(with the rubbers in one piece even!), flex plate and a remaned TC(used, which makes me think its seen some miles).... for $450
caveats- No timing covers, no idea on mileage, or even year, harmonic and some stuff in a box, tone ring was rubbing something, shes a filthy little bitch. He let me pull the VC, lobes are less worn than my ~155k 1.6 if that means anything.

Just realized you wrote inside the quote tags, it looked looked you had just quoted deezums for no apparent reason. I need banjo fittings with odd angles in 1\8" or an3, and they have to be slim, almost requiring a crimp in some applications.
And btw i only got the drivers side engine mount lol

Oh cause I was like wait a minute, I remember he said 94-97 but yeahhhhhhhh.
Well glad that worked out. I kind of want to do a better engine but $$$$$$. I might be going to a flex fuel setup (only need a fuel pump and flex sensor, pretty cheap) to try and find that extra 10HP I need. I kept getting walked hardcore at the last race. Will be interesting to see if I still get walked after I'm at the power to weight limit.

Still debating pistons. I found stock replacement oversized NPRs, which im lead to believe is oem, stupid cheap. I found one guy on here running them at 300+, they were fine until he detonated the **** out of them.
NPR Piston w Ring Set Fits Mazda Miata Ford Escort Kia Mercury 1 8L DOHC BP | eBay
edit- those are for a 94-97, but you get the gist

I want forged. I want to play with higher compression, and timing and whatnot. The price difference between OEM and forged is about what you paid to rebuild your engine. So all it takes is one bad tuning day and you lost all the money you saved.
