Baa it looks like it is supposed to be on an off raining all day. So I do not know if I will get a chance to start her today.
Also Gryff and I have been talking about using additional lights in the gauge cluster as warning lights. For example seat belt light, rear defroster, antilock brakes, and washer indicator are all unused on my car. Has any one successfully found the correct wires in the harness and used them as warning lights. Or any one have a reason why it would not work?

Now I just need it to stop raining so that I can get the car on the road and break in the engine. The next 2 days it is supposed to rain, so hopefully Wednesday I get her on the road.

Motor starts and runs. The only leak I have found so far is at my turbo feed. I am going to wait for the manifold to cool off so I can tighten it. Then if rain holds off I should be breaking in the motor a bit later.
I got the car very briefly on the road. If felt great to be driving it again, but definitely needs a ton of tuning. I did a few pulls to 6k rpms and let then engine slow me down. They were all in second gear as I did not leave my neighborhood. Tomorrow I am planning on burping the coolant and fixing my tune a bit then going out and doing proper engine break in with 4th gear pulls.

You need to take the car back to the machinist and let him finish the shim-job on that cam.
You also need to tape that fire sleeve.
Let me know if you need any parts, I owe you.

I have not touched the car in a week except to check Cam/Crank wiring for Hustler. I simply have not had time, or decent weather when I have time. Every evening the rest of the week I have things planned. So I probably won't get back to working on it any till this weekend at the soonest.

Tonight I am going out to comedy after work with my cousin. Tomorrow I am hopefully going to be buying a welder. Friday I have a company function. So Saturday morning is probably the soonest I will have time. Weather is supposed to be perfect out all weekend so hopefully I will get lots of time this weekend to get everything working correctly.
