So last night I started working on the built motor.

I found an issue when I went to go to install my injectors and fuel rail. The center fuel rail bolt was stuck in the head. I had somehow completely missed that when I was going over the head. I busted out the welder and a spare nut to try to weld on and pull it out. Unfortunately the bolt just broke further down. So I guess it is time to pull the head off and swap over my other head. Lots of fun.

Did some more work on the engine last night. Need to go pick up some oil filters and oil this weekend. Hopefully will get the motor back in Sunday.

I did a little more work on the motor yesterday when I realized I lost the oil feed line sometime during my move. I have to wait for the hydraulic shop opens on Monday to get a new line made. So this pushes back the motor install to sometime during the week.

That is in the trunk of the car, it won't get installed until the motor is actually in the car as I think my VC will be coming off at least once more.
I went up and had half of the new oil feed line made. Tonight it will be installed on the motor, and I will take measurements so I can get it made to correct length and fitment, which will happen tomorrow at lunch. It is looking like this weekend I may actually be able to get the motor installed.

FWIW I've been running without the middle bolt for about ~10 months, maybe longer. Lost it when I initially swapped injectors and it's been on to-do list since..

So the motor is in, starts, and has oil pressure. Unfortunately it is running real rough, idling around 42kpa, and leaking slightly out the back of the head at the coolant reroute spacer. I have been busy working on my new DIY setup so fixing these issues have not been high on the list. This weekend I should have time to get to work on fixing these issues. First will be the water leaks, after that I will hopefully figure out why I am idling at such a high kpa and get fixed. From there will be lots of driving and tuning on the car NA. Then my new t3 setup will go on for product testing. After that my absurdflow setup will go back on and I can hopefully crank up the boost.

She is dirty, but she is running. Need to check for leaks tomorrow then get some more miles on her. On Thursday I will change the oil and then drive her to Atlanta on Friday. Should be an good trip.

It is possible to install. When I pulled off the stock header the whole stud came with the nut. I could not fit the stud and nut on with the manifold. So I left them off for the time being. Usually you can use a 14mm open ended wrench to reach down and tighten the but onto the stud.
