Lukashenko no doubt has the Polonium-210 suite in Minsk reserved for Prigozhin.

After I graduated from college in the late 1980s, affirmative action and the resultant hiring quotas prevented me from getting a job in my chosen career in CA. As a result, I moved to AZ, got a job and met my wife of 26 years. I retired in January after a great career. I'm pretty sure affirmative action was probably the best thing that ever happened to me.

im more curious how it affects me locally:

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/23/u...dmissions.html

prestigious private HS in the area always had the best students and graduates. now this area is pretty much 80% Asians/south Asians and TJ stopped accepting them based on the color of their skin and it was ruled non-discriminatory.

The Supreme Court is on a tear this week.

First they rule that racial discrimination is unconstitutional, now they've ruled that the Executive branch can't forcibly transfer private debt owed by individuals over to the taxpayers.

If they keep going like this, we're gonna wind up with some truly crazy **** happening, like liberty, freedom of expression, and protection from warrantless search and seizure.

another win you didnt hear about:

https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/...-gay-100539807

The Supreme Court rules for a designer who doesn't want to make wedding websites for gay couples

The Supreme Court’s conservative majority has ruled a Christian graphic artist who wants to design wedding websites can refuse to work with same-sex couples

I'll tell you something that I really find interesting, though. Listening to WBEZ on the drive in this morning, I noted that both BBC News and NPR are using the word "riot" to refer to the recent and ongoing riots in and around Paris after police there shot and killed an unarmed brown person during a traffic stop.

Not "mostly-peaceful protests."

Wow.

They're not even trying to hide behind flowery language anymore. 21st century American leftists are really putting their Uncle Tom face on with zero shame whatsoever.
