I'm all for less government but **** that guy. He knew the law and was actively flaunting it. Like that woman in Ithaca that was feeding deer after being fined several times. She was actually spreading chronic wasting disease, but oh, those poor deer.
You **** around and find out. You don't like the rules, you take the steps to get them changed. You don't just pretend they don't apply to you.
I think the bigger question is, "Is sending 12 armed cops plus investigators to turn a house upside down for five hours---for a squirrel---a telling sign of MONUMENTAL government overreach?" I think the answer is YES.
It's the cop that pulls you over for going 46 in a 45 zone. Is he technically correct? Well....yes. Is it complete and utter BULLSHIT? HELL YES.
Speaking of other-than-mainstream media, a few weeks ago I discussed the fact that The Internet Archive had been down for quite some time, and questioned what might be happening to the data stored within it during that outage.

Why do these people think that the president actually has anything to do with whether abortion is legal or not? That's not something the president decides. That's not something the federal government decides. That is something the states and/or individuals decide for themselves.
Bunch of ignorant *************. I feel like it's important for people to know how the government works if they're going to be allowed to participate in it. That probably sounds Jim Crow but that's not the intention. The rest of us are suffering for the ignorance of many.

I feel you, blows my mind. Especially when it is the battle cry of an entire party.
My favorite is Baker's 7. I would describe it as "angry", but I don't have any.
I had a little of the WhistlePig Rye. Pretty nice. Right now I'm having a little of the Elmer T Lee. I told myself I wasn't going to open any sealed bottles. One day, they'll be money. And I'm not doing any scotches. It's a bourbon night.
In the big scheme of things, it's really hard to beat the Wild Turkey 101 Rye.
If you have a couple of hundred bucks to spend on bourbon, I really enjoyed George Washington's Straight Rye Whiskey. Historical recipe using historically accurate equipment. Bought it on a whim.

I've been hooked on a $6.99 bottle of Malbec from Costco, rated 91. It's the closest thing to "table wine" I've found in a while, and I never need an excuse to pop a cork. Buys in volume...

I've been to Laguna Seca as a child, back in the original layout! My dad told me, "don't cross the racetrack unless it's between sessions." Different times...

Ooh - I have a bottle of the last batch of The Laddie 10 that I’ve been saving. If the results continue on the current trajectory, I might have to have a dram before bed. In the meantime, I’m sipping on some Red Breast 15 yr old that my BIL gave me last week - better than I deserve.
I'm flipping between CNN and MSNBC. What a hoot. That guy, Rachel (weird name for a dude) Maddow, said several minutes ago that MSNBC could call North Carolina for Harris. CNN has Trump up by several thousand votes in NC.
Quick story -
When we had my Dad’s wake, my best friend showed up with a bottle of Pappy so we could have a drink in his memory. After we did, he proceeded to have one with my Mom. Then with each of my 3 brothers and my sister. As we were leaving, we found him passed out in front of the exit door, so instead of joining the family for dinner, I drove him home while my wife followed in my car.
It was a swell evening. At least I got him home while his wife was out.

Tomorrow, let's not gloat and rub the leftists faces in what happened here tonight.
Let's demonstrate by our actions that we are mature and rational people, not the idiotic crazies whom they have spent the past four years convincing themselves that we are.
