Leafy is right, that's one hell of a nice paint scheme. Probably one of the classiest ones I've seen on an NA in quite some time

Hood risers actually work in the Southern Hemisphere. It's kind of like their toilets swirling the opposite of here.

It's gravity bringing the hood up at the back.

Been through this before.
Previous shop bent them for cooling.
I spoke to owner about it who likes it like that.
I fitted very thick seals all around. Look in the engine bay shots.

The nose scoop feeds theoil cooler duct.

For tthe record repeated dyno pulls and water temp at solid 80c and you can hold the oil filter easily.

Update,

Got to 16psi on the dyno, but it had a missfire, and so ended up very softly tuned, but it made about 280.

Missfire was incorrect dwell, going back in a few days.

It seems the cams are probably close to stock, sadface.

Wastegate duty cycle at 16psi was only 35%.

We ran out of ignition power, we had to go to BRK8E, down to .020.

It was making about 8hp/psi still and making more power with ignition but with any attempts to ask for more we got missfires.

Here is what it made. 23psi.

What coils are you using Dann? I can't see what those leads are connected to.

I was getting an occasional misfire even on the Toyota coils. I have a set of D510C LS3 coils now but haven't tuned it yet to know if it has cured the problem. I'll try to remember to tell you.

Cheers

Solid power out of a tater
I think at 23psi this is about all it will do (or at least per the comp map), and 2k worth of powerband should be plenty on a properly geared track car.
Why was it done in 4th instead of 5th? Isn't this a 6sp car?
What about the torque output?

Hey Vlad,

I had to tell him 5th not 6th after a few minutes on the rollers. Forgot to tell him prior.

It was still making power with both timing and boost... We will change the coils, run it at the track a few times, and come back for some reruns and if it makes more power easily with each psi of boost we will try and add more.

Wastegate duty cycle tapers from 45-55% from 4500-8000.

10psi spring.
