You also expected your EFR to last forever before the first one died on you. Just because they fix this mistake does not mean that others will not come up. I wish the best for EFR, but they have not had a good beginning. Give it another 3-4 years of testing and showing that they have become reliable and then I might consider switching.

And by which time Garrett probably will have something with similar features (except durability) and performance.

So was the coolant the time you opened the radiator cap at the autox and it blew all over your face, or a different time? I was there for both the coupler and drive shaft incidents.

no it was from when I swapped a motor but decided not to replace the water pump and the water pump gasket leaked instantly.

but if we consider it that time, you're a ------- troll.

hey lars, look how awesome my new exhaust is. *blown coupler*
hey lars, look how fast my car is. *driveshaft falls off*
hey scott, your radiator car is leaking. *coolant explodes in scott's face*

Really? I thought it was just the early ones that someone messed up the metallurgy. Is metallurgy even the right word since its a transitional materiel?

The revised batch has been out for a while. My turbo is one of them and I purchased it in November of last year.

Yes both of my turbos were doomed from the start. I knew that when I was buying the second one. They are completely, totally out of stock everywhere, and have been for past half a year.
