They're older cards, but currently sell for $425+ on eBay. One of these might drive 3 monitors at max res just fine. Btw, I cancelled the gaming pc order, gonna build one.

The TrendNet was waiting for me when I got home tonight. Took me all of 15 seconds to set it up. Plugged it in and had instant wireless in my room. Sweet.

No idea how to change the name or set security settings, though. Oh well.

I'm in the intel retail edge's program and I missed out on the Intel® Core™ i7 4930K for $194 + $12.50 shipping deal. Wahhhh MSRP is $579.99.

If you *really* wanrt to **** with it, the directions for changing SSID, security mode, etc., are on pages 18-27 of The Manual.

Wouldn't that involve using the CD that came with it? Wouldn't I have to find a way to wirelessly (is that even a word?) make the changes from my desktop to the unit?

I prefer not to use the CD that comes with these devices, and instead use a web browser to access their remote management terminal just like you would with a "real" router.

I'm not 100% certain.

Since that box is just a bridge between the wired and wireless worlds, you should* be able to access it from either side. You just need to know what its IP address is.

* = and Grace Park should also show up on my door any day now.
