My only worry at this point is fuel consumption. At flat chat, I get between 3 and 5mpg at 220whp. At 300, I figure that will drop to a solid 3mpg, or 35 miles a tank. 20-25 minute session, 75mph+ average... do the math. :cry:

common problem.. when i was running north of 300 i got 3 medium length passes on a small technical track.. on i longer more high power track, i would go through fuel like crazy.. and the tank on the miata is small :D

Yeah savington, I was burning more than 2/3 a tank every 30minutes, which totally sucks. It will be nice when i can run less boost (probably making more power) and not tank up after each session.

more power = more fuel. As long as I can run 30 minutes on a tank, I'll be fine.

Still buttoning things up. Remounted the oil cooler and did the oil return line. We spent half an hour deciding that this would work fine, so if you tell me it's going to blow my new turbo up I'm going to come to your house and barbecue your cat.

That drain line is fine. There's so little oil going thru these anyway when you run the restrictor.

So what's the schedule like now?

It lives. I need to throw clamps on all the couplers, have a few bungs welded into the new coldside piping (WG feed, BOV, water, IAT), and it should be ready to tune.

The turbo noise is fucking wicked with no intake and no exhaust. :)
