OK, OK, I like your spirit, but let's tone it down some. Please guys, play it cool. I know (most of) you have seen a woman before.

Tell her to relax a bit. There are automatic security protocols that prevent 2 accounts being created from teh same computer. She can PM me to resolve.

<edit>In reply to post #141, I didn't check why the auto detector went off, but it usually does so if 2 accounts are created under the same IP.

This thread is weird. I don't like *******s in general. I know a lot of guys that lower their car too low (IE very little travel left), put huge wheels with skinny tires, wings, body kits, never get them painted, have stock engines and drive like jackasses. They think everyone that passes them wants to race. They all have a at least 3 tickets for "********" or showing their *** in their slow cars. I could name 10 people I know that fit this description. Of these 10 people one of them is really good at ********. He's an incredible driver in general. Guy can shift gears so fast it's stupid. He ran a 9.41 in the 1/8 mile in a bone stock 240sx. He's good, but it's the other 9 in that group that pull him down and give *******s a bad name.

That said defending ********, *******s, and all that on this site is pointless. It's like preaching to an atheist. It's like going to HomeMadeTurbo forum and showing off your car that you just picked up from FM with a 2.0 stroker and FMII turbo kit on. Your **** might be faster than 90% of the cars on their site, but you will be ridiculed. Buying high end turbo kits is not what that site's about.

For the record, she is not in any way banned or barred from the forum. Her early troubles were due to the fact that she did not reply to the confirmation email.

Her current condition is however restricted, and is done automatically by the forum AI's muliple log in detection system.

Instead of sending me a PM, "she" somehow figured out where I work for and sent me an email to my work address.
Then, of course, she used profanity. In my work email address. My job is pretty PC, so that's not cool.

She's been instructed to contact me at my personal email.

I dunno.

jbguillo I hope you see the comedy in this thread. Either way it's entertaining.

Trying to convert those who fail to see the real competition in it in driftin-g is futile battle. I don't doubt it takes skill. But IMO driftin-g requires less from the driver than a lot of other motorsports. That said, I respect the fact that anybody should enjoy their car, more so if they're actually driving it.

Yep, I do. And just to inform you....I'm not here to convert anyone at all; I'm was just in utter awe at how much ******** is hated here, and had a few questions to ask.

OK, maybe you need another fabulous avatar to get this to stick. Buttsex is not hated here. The stereotypical buttsexer is. You may notice that Jeff Abbot and Rapper Dan are both respected and (somewhat) active members here. And we enjoy their videos and their input.

What we don't like is any of the BS CA culture, idiotic wheel and tire choices, super slammed suspension, $10k 140 whp motors, or any other form of moronicy. Furthermore, we detest those who "drive" these ridiculous things on the street, do so unsafely, and make us look bad in the public's eye.

I completely agree with you...there are a lot of ******** that associate themselves with it now. I'm not a fan of it either, and there's not much I can do about that. Any variation of the word "d rift" was banned, that's all that I was speaking about. You can talk about the retards who drive around like asshoels on the strret all day long and I would 100% agree.

It is folly to look for logic in the heart of men. (or internet forums)

This thread wouldn't have gone anywhere without you jbquido. You are the lube on this thread's condom. Nicely done.

To use your 90/10 example. 90% of the time spent on this forum is for fun. 10% to learn something. Internet bashing and ranting is fun. Kind of like drif-ting but without the judges, tire expense, ricey cars and consequences if you get it wrong.

I'm slightly bitter about the buttsexers. We lost a really wicked autox venue because of the buttsexing that was going on ... all legal and above board. People in the area didn't mind autox on a sunday, but they got a little bent out of shape when they would hear cars buttsexing all day. Bouncing off the rev limit and spinning the tires constantly grated on some nerves, go figure.

Buttsexing to the person who knows nothing about it looks like a dangerous gong show. Two years ago at our Champ Car event buttsexing was a demo event. Well ****. These PROFESSIONAL guys put on quite the show. From what I saw before, during and after the event they did significant damage to every car that was there. They were selling ride alongs, I assume to let people experience the thrill first hand. Oh did I mention that they weren't insured for spectator ride alongs. And in general just looked out of control.

Bottom line, this was a big wart on the *** of a very legit and prestigious event (for our area). They looked like a bunch of dangerous, amateur thugs out there.

Guess who wasn't invited back? Yup, the buttsexers. And with all the media attention these ***** get, like the fellow who ran himself over with his BMW? that was all over the forums a while back, it makes other amateur grassroots motorsports look bad. We share the same venues, driver "similar" cars so we all get painted with the same brush.

Hell even legit well run buttsex events look like dangerous hooliganism to the uneducated.

There, the logical reasons I think it is a joke and a blight on real motorsports. Oh ya, and buttsexing is for ****.

There was a story on the news here a couple weeks ago that buttsexer turnout would be lower due to the high cost of fuel. Because fuel really is expensive when you look at the cost of tires.

But Jay is correct. When you invite the buttsexers to come and join your auto-x to share venue and defray costs, because of the hooliganisms that ensue, you are not invited to auto-x there any more.

It sucks when any event venue is shut down. A few have been shut down in CA since I 've been here...and I haven't even been here for less than a year. it's usually due to idiot drivers crashing or insurance issues. I don't understand why they would shut it down completely to auto-x'ers when it has nothing to do with them. The sanctioning bodies that are left, are doing a lot to fix problems like these.

A venue appropriate for auto x very well may not be right for drif-ting. Big difference in noise levels to surrounding neighbors. Unfortunately the complaining neighbors don't know or care that there is a difference between the two activities. All they know is they had to listen to cars with outlandish exhaust notes, squealing tires and revving engines and smell the damn tire smoke when they were trying to enjoy a day off. Worse yet is when people leave the venue and continue to practice their "art" in the adjoining neighborhoods on the way home.

The pissed off homeowner doesn't care what the activity was. They only know they hated it.

That reminds me of another thing that needs to be fixed about buttsexing, which is the safety aspect. I know safety issues aren't the most exciting thing to hear about, but seriously, look at some of the buttsexing pics people have posted. No helmet, no rollbar, spectators watching without anything between them and the car on course... not cool. Accidents can happen anytime. I watched my dad roll his D-stock Civic in an autocross, he had removed the sunroof (pretty common tactic in an '87 Si) and his helmet had a 5X2" scrape on the shell from dragging against the cement. Of course, this being an autocross, there were no other cars around to hit him and all he had was a stiff neck at the end of the day. If buttsexers don't start taking their events more seriously someone will die, and it will bring even more negative attention to buttsex and cause further loss of venues.

Koto,

You are making an excellent point. Shut up!

For all the haters the best thing that could happen is Darwinism killing off the whole thing. If "Dancing with the Cars" goes away we can get back to the business of actual timed events undisturbed!!!

If you fix it you are just prolonging the agony.

I think the whole sagged pants thing is about the worst fashion idea to come along in forever. I figured like many fashion mistakes it would be short lived. Boy was I wrong. After 15 years you still see the occasional guy with his *** hanging out trying to look cool while he has to hold his pants up walking in the rain.

******** is like that. Maybe if we ignore it it will go away quicker! If they start killing fans, themselves, pissing off the public, etc, maybe johnny law will put a bullet in it's head!

I just lol'ed re-reading what I wrote. If I hadn't written; "If buttsexers don't start taking their events more seriously someone will die, and it will bring even more negative attention to buttsex" myself, I'd put it in my sig.

The only problem with calling ******** bu***ex is every time I see the word I have that damn video urban posted, burned into my brain, pop back into my head again. As fast as I could close that window it was still too long. It's one thing to joke about all the gayness and bu***ex, actually seeing it is a whole different thing. Even for only a few seconds. Gaah, my eyes!

Heh heh. He said hole...
