IMO buttsex is something you do with a couple of friends in a parking lot or empty back roads at night away from everyone else just to have fun. but setting-up a car to be a purpose built buttsex car and do really nothing else is just plain retarded.

i will admit, buttsex is fun as hell, really fun. but the comps comptley distroy what buttsex "should" be.

Ah, well I think the sport has enough problems with the idea that it should be done on the roads. Which, well..it shouldn't. Getting people to the track without making an event out of it and making it exciting and an experience would be a hard sell. Also, I don't think that many people build cars to Drift and nothing else. Well, anyone grassroots. I know a lot of people who compete in slide events who also Auto-X the same car, would probably consider actual track time if it weren't so god rediculous expensive and over all enjoy driving on streets and such.

This again is where proper representation kinda fails. Like, I do slide my miata, it's not the only thing I'm building my miata for or to do. Were I to get good enough in my miata I would build a track only car. I don't see this as particularly dumb. when people build auto-x only cars that are trailed to parking lots. Or hill climb only cars. Or drag only cars. Once there's money in it you want to maximize your potential.

Of course things like FD or D1 destroy the "oh anyone can do this" or "you don't have to spend lots of money". Just the same way that GT racing does. Hmm..that C6R corvette totally looks obtainable by anyone other than GM.

i don't mean roads like city streets. but there is no harm in buttsexing through an emtpy industrial complex when no-one is around, IE early in the morning/late at night.

but i completly agree there needs to be way more places to buttsex, road races, drag and so on and NOT be in an event. driving for a score/postion takes the fun out of it.

if your going to stand on a soapbox and try to explain why we should like ********, don't bother. I'm not going to lie and say it's not fun, but as a site (98% of us) we are more interested growing fresh basil on my patio.

Yeah man how's the Basil doing? Still keeping it on the Patio I see. Thought you were considering another location?

How old is your Basil?
I have a bunch of Rosemary out on our porch - It's real tall and weighs about two pounds now - It's got about a year on it.
Show me your Basil and I'll post my Rosemary!
This is much more fun than BUTTSEX
