Sort of funny that Pabst Blue Ribbon was the only well-known national beer that made the cut. One that has been derided and criticized by "true beer connoisseurs" that I have come across.

I enjoy PBR for an easy to aquire, and cheap beer. Its not great, but for the price and the fact it gets you drunk... its good.

Yay!! the forum in unbroken!

It's weird that I prefer alcohol, and cocktail as opposed to beer. I've tried beer and I just don't see why most people are so fond of it

Both built engines, right? How high was the compression on the first one and how small was the snail?

10:1 w/ 2554 (stock engine) strictly 93 octane.

My car is 8.5:1 and built with a GT2860rs using the big housing. I run 91 octane on that table, in August, lol.

91 octane O_O and it didn't blow up. How much did Chuck Norris charged you for that motor?

I would LOVE to see dyno plots of both engines.

On 93 octane my stock '99 loves the FM 1.6 spark table.

The verge of detonation on the sound of uneven flame propogation. It was also 103* that day with 122*f IATs. This is prior to me increasing the spark angle and working in 4* of retard with MAT-based spark retard. I want to add more spark when it cools off and see what happens.

Allen's base spark table had to be retarded from ~29-31 degrees at 101kpa down to 26-29* due to detonation. This was done during "destruction testing" where the pistons are really hot this reduced spark-angle required to hit MBT.

Ignore the AFR, it was a PLX:

And mine on ultra-low boost at 9psi:

I'll get a real dyno later this month on my car.

It seems my neighbor thinks a green light overrides a yield sign when making a right and the yield sign is for the right lane. I was making a left through an intersection and he was making a right and had a yield sign. He honked at me and called me a dumbass (not knowing we were neighbors until we pulled in the subdivision). I let him pass me and followed him to his driveway and politely explained he was wrong because he had a yield sign. He tried to combat me with "but I had a green light and iI have a buddy who is a cop and I'll ask him" bullsh!t. Funny how people get mad when they can only blame themself for not paying attention to their surroundings. I did get some joy out of it by having a very condescending and snide attitude about telling him he was wrong...but only after he was adamant about being right for having a green light.

I'm highly contemplating printing off the O.C.G.A code about yield signs and leaving it in his mail box.

haha. I understand his mindset, but yeah, right yeild sign means "yeilds to the traffic in the street." you can turn left on a green freely because you need to yeild to oncomming traffic, he then needs to yeild to you.

it's worse if there's no divider between the straight and turn lane with a right hand yeild.
