Curious as to how long your approval took? E-Filed Individual Form 1?
ATF approved a bunch of Individual Form 4s in ~60 days from early August, but it appears it was a deliberate attempt to fudge their average approval times, which they've been getting flak for.
25 very quick days for my efiled form 1. 25th of last month to the 20th of this month. Can't believe it is so fast.
Done! Yeah, it took me 3 months from idea to completion but that is about standard with me. 10.5" PSA 300BLK pistol kit on an 80% lower, Form 1 silencer, engraved on my K40 laser, baffles DHC clipped via a jig I designed/printed on my Anet A8 printer. Total cost of project was around $1800 (not bad for a $500 gun!). I've only shot it a few rounds in the backyard with lots of reflective sound from fence, houses, etc. Not Hollywood quiet but not deafening without hearing protection. Can't wait to hear it on the range. I don't know how many rounds I can get out of a pound of powder but I will start making them soon.

The answer to this question is almost always Savage MKii series. When they had their perpetual $25 or $50 rebate on rimfires, they were a spectacular deal. Those rebates have been gone for about 2 years, but the Savages are still an exceptional buy imho. CZ seems to have a reputation for better ootb accuracy, but they're also $150 more money for comparable models. The Ruger American Rimfire with threaded barrel is at least $100 more. There's also the Marlin XT for the same price as the Savage... plenty of YT videos say it's very accurate, some say "the most accurate under $200". I'm not a Marlin guy for absolutely no reason.
Honestly, I think with the 4 choices, Savage, Ruger, CZ, Marlin... they're all gonna be about the same. You may find one gun built on a Wednesday that's better than another built on a Friday... with different ammo under different conditions, but I think if you took 10 examples of each gun and put 10 different brands of ammo through them, you'd find that they're all within 1% of eachother across the board.
I think the clear winner in the "what .22lr threaded bolt-action?" is the MKii FVSR... has been for about 10 years now. There are plenty of YT videos about a diy trigger job if you want. Actually, doing the testing for that thread led me to a revelation... and I got rid of the majority of my .22lr stash and reinvested in just a couple different types.
Nowadays (and I don't count the last 2 years in Hawaii) I only buy 4 types of .22lr:
CCI SV (for target work)
CCI Quiet (for teaching)
CCI Stinger (critter control)
Federal Automatch (plinking in my semi-autos)
.22LR is really dirty through a suppressor... if you use your centerfire can, just be sure to give it a thorough cleaning.

Your post sent me to look up Single Sixes, 'cause I remembered them being inexpensive. Holy ****!! They've gotten quite expensive. As expensive as the .45LC Cimarrons I posted above!
As an aside, we lived a few miles away from Bill Ruger's Single Six Ranch in Kirkland, AZ for a few years. After the old man passed, the family sold the ranch off and I'm not sure it's even called the Single Six any more. I used to drive by it daily when I worked in that area.

Oh, range report. I took the 300BLK suppressed to a friends house today. The cheap *** red dot was shitty to say the least so we could barely hit the target with my reloads. Dot kept moving around. I will have to work on it some more. The Form 1 suppressor did ok but was not even close to Hollywood quiet. FWIW, we shot 60 rounds out of the sawed off Mosin. I think I left my shoulder at his house and will have to get it back tomorrow.

I really like my new Ruger American 6.5CM, but have been missing an AR10 since I sold my last one to step up my optics game. Receivers are Aero Precision and I only have 2 pieces left to buy. .308 16" Faxon pencil barrel and Toolcraft Nitride BCG... just waiting on the right sale.
I have a really cheap ($35?) red dot on the 300BLK. I have never shot with a red dot on an open range and don't know what to expect if I upgrade. The dot was moving around and I could barely see it. My eye glasses auto darken so I don't know if that was part of it. Any of you guys shoot red dot with transition lenses on your glasses? What difference would a $100 (I know that is still on the cheap side) red dot give me?

Bought this guy for hog hunting this Summer. Ignore the optic mount, I was ******* around with it out of the box. Good call on the upgraded trigger, I zero'd this thing at 200 yards and the trigger sucks *****.

Put the 30 cal can on the Savage this afternoon. I am pleased. I don't see a reason at this point, unless I just want to start another project, to build a 22 cal can.
I love it... right in the neighborhood with the factory stickers still on it! You will love that FV-SR... might be the my favorite gun in the whole safe!

Having problems with the ejector right now. I wrote Savage and hope they will send some new parts out so I can polish up what I have now.
