New Tuner Studio version with VEanalyze live
Out of interest I left mine to expire and installed the "lite" version.
From my quick 5 min play, it seems alot of other stuff has been removed from the full version we have gotten so used to using.

Secondary maps?,
Difference reports,
Customisible dashboards (means you have a default basic that is loaded everytime)
It was quite hairy loading my new MSQ up to the controller without the detailed difference report. I double checked dwell, and spark inversion etc before cranking. (because Im super safe to the extreme!)

I think the "lite" version is still very good, probably suited well to those of us who have reasonably tuned cars and don't require to carry the laptop around.
I'm at the stage now where I don't require VE autotune. When I have the laptop, I prefer to datalog a journey and manually go over my logs in MLV (I'll hit spacebar if something feels odd and then manually analyse later). I then might knock the odd fuel cell up/down a point.

The "old-style-tuning" via log/MLV is nowhere near as good as the VEanalyze live.
This is a screen shot of a run I did yesterday. - It's about 1 hour of driving done with veanalyze
Have a look at how the AFR follows the line called "real AFR target" - I could never get this so close with MLV.
As stated many times before - this piece of software is worth every cent I paid.

I am wondering if anyone will agree with my thoughts, I saw the development roadmap for TS is that it will support multiple device.
If multiple device support will be build into TunnerStudio (The Best Tuning Software for MS in my dictionary), then, it will be best to support GTechPro-RR?
The reasons I've got these idea is because most megasquirt users are tuning older models car, which we will not be able to use gears and speed gauges already build into TS, unable to use the MPG goodies.
The only way to solve these in cheapest form are to support a USB GPS dongle (which respond slow and only tells latitude and longtitude that may plot running path), or a reasonable price performance device that may tell us our drag speed, Gforce, detecting rpm by sound and know our shifting point.
Another way of speaking is that we may tune, or at least get a reasonable idea on adjusting the spark with some concrete supporting facts data, in order to get the best pull from accelerations, wouldn't these wonderful that MS users will be able to tune for best torque, even without a dyno?
Furthermore, for those who go autocross and racing, it will also form a single data source out for software like Trackvision, this will definitely help on our lap times?
Anybody with me?

TunerStudio has a free and a paid version. VE Analyzer Live is a paid function.

Yeah, but since coding is the hard part of the game, it's not worth doing anything if no users felt that they will support the products, and it seems nobody is having the same thoughts I have..
Maybe Run reference for comparasions / as an learning curve is really not that important in the reality..

From what I read in the tuners studio forums, 0.999.3 is the same as 0.999.1 so that people who got 0.999.2 have an easier downgrade path. Something big was broken in 0.999.2. There's a 0.999.5b beta floating around if you have to have the latest.
