me vs 2004 MSM (also in those pics) with all the bolt ons (but stock ecu, and a tired motor with semi-low compression)

Was quite surprised by the outcome of this one. I expected to get destroyed, but actually held him off til 4th gear, and only then did he slowly start to pull away.

Anywho, this was all just for farts and giggles, but a ton of fun was had by all. I haven't really wound out my car or shifted it fast pretty much since I bought it LOL

 

the MSM is really slow.

 

I knew the Impreza was going to get destroyed but I was def surprised by the MSM being so slow. I know they are terrible but still, expected more than that!

 

How many ponies on the msm?

 

No idea. Its got an FM 2.5" turboback exhaust, AEM intake, FM tb tube and o2 clamp, ebay fmic, and an MBC at 10psi if I remember correctly.

I've no idea if my car is just quick or everyone else is slow, but I've ran a couple other n/a bolt on NA's and NB's and pulled away from all of them.

 

Guessing 210-220ish then.

Wow, that MSM is sad. Something must be off, i didn't even think the compression could be down enough on it to be that slow without leaving a smoke screen. Or your car is just really quick? Either way cool videos, I enjoyed em.

And to clarify, what are your mods as of that video? It's tuned on MS3 right?
