Not very. Use hose clamps instead.

Yes, to switch masters on you need to bend hardlines. Pick up some cunifer tubing and a flaring tool and you can make new ones in exactly the shape you want.

Thats the plan tomorrow.

And I found signs of leaking on the 01 master and booster. I'll probably snag the Wildwood dual master over the winter.

'01+ master: like $80 on rockauto. Is the wilwoods master really worth over $200? I decided that for me, it wasn't.

'01+ master is 15/16, wilwood master is 1".

Did you mean to check the 929 master on rock auto?

Isn't your spare brake master a sport? Isn't the LF caliper port on the bottom? If so- you can use that to run your LF brake line through the fender like boostedsmurf. That's what I'm doing because of downpipe danger.

Yes, but that requires running new lines. Which I didn't want to do. Also, the 01 master looked leaky.

I think I paid about $90 for my Rockauto 929 master. IMHO, the 1" master upgrade is well worth it.

Pretty much all of the masters out there have slightly different port locations, so nothing is completely plug-and-play. Bending brake lines is actually really easy, though.

Yeah, I'll upgrade at some point. When I saw the leakage on the 01 master then I said screw it and will upgrade later.

I was going to say "rebuild kit" but I can't find any. Maybe those days are gone and everybody just buys rebuilt masters.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the case with a lot of car assemblies.

It was working well until I flushed and filled. It was slightly leaking around the grommets but that shouldn't affect performance.
