Aidan's loose oily bunghole actually runs a track lap
Yes, to switch masters on you need to bend hardlines. Pick up some cunifer tubing and a flaring tool and you can make new ones in exactly the shape you want.

Thats the plan tomorrow.

And I found signs of leaking on the 01 master and booster. I'll probably snag the Wildwood dual master over the winter.

Isn't your spare brake master a sport? Isn't the LF caliper port on the bottom? If so- you can use that to run your LF brake line through the fender like boostedsmurf. That's what I'm doing because of downpipe danger.

For what it's worth, when I put in the metal rx7 shifter bushing it sucked for the first month or so.

EDIT: And by sucks i mean the same problem with first. Took me 2-3 tries each time.

No. I didn't really think about that. I just bought the one for the Miata and put it in.

Looks like the 929 one on RockAuto is anywhere between $57 and $170 depending on ABS or not, and manufacturer. I just wanted a simple, PNP solution. I'm aware the Wilwood is 1" master, I just didn't feel like it was worth the time/money for my particular case. We will see if I'm right.

Pretty much all of the masters out there have slightly different port locations, so nothing is completely plug-and-play. Bending brake lines is actually really easy, though.

Yeah, I'll upgrade at some point. When I saw the leakage on the 01 master then I said screw it and will upgrade later.

It was working well until I flushed and filled. It was slightly leaking around the grommets but that shouldn't affect performance.
