Alas, Hustler has abandoned us. Last post in May. I fear he has traded-in his ***** collection for a collection of bike seats (more girth) and arm slings.

Deezums, where were the clearance issues on your wheels. With the barrel of the wheel or the spokes?

I'm sending that link to my boss, we've been looking for an excuse to buy a basic 3D printer for a while.

Edit: on second thought, I'm not sure I want to spend 13h assembling it and then troubleshooting it forever.

Funny you mention that, I'm looking for the same reason. Boss man says no, so I'm thinking I'll buy it and print his parts for him instead of letting UPS do it. UPS store has to charge a small fortune for 3d prints, right? I like tools that come with a payment plan, always buy those tools.

markforged mark-one

I've been using one of these recently. Software/interface is all online and really quite nice. Parts come out looking pretty good. The kevlar/carbon fiber is nice, but I haven't found any application where the nylon alone wouldn't have probably been fine.

I bought one of the $360 hictop prusa, I expect to use my mill and lathe to make it behave a bit. I can't wait, super stoked.

I don't know what that is or if mine has it, I have mucho mucho reading to do. This one is supposed to be a reprap style frame, so I should be able to fit some decent stuff if necessary, or at least that's my thoughts.
