I've been thinking about it for the last several months. It will be my magnum opus.

Typical Aidan style. Kind of measured, mostly eyeballed. Close enough!

That does look good, and should be effective.

I especially like the contrast against the front bumper.

Thanks rick!
My air filter is definitely underneath it and so is the fan. Slightly worrying in Oregon. It just gives me more motivation to move the air intake. Maybe I'll build a water shield for the fan.
I'm going to do some string tests later.

In 6 months I'd like a kitten. We can't have them at our current place.

Pulled the turbo to cut a relief between 3 and 4. There was definitely some stress on the flange. It closed in on my hacksaw blades and snapped a few. New gasket and new studs.

Also bought some exhaust clamps to build new support for the muffler and exhaust.

Holy crap, you do have a turbo. I was starting to doubt there for a while.

I wish I could break a diff on NA power, that would be one bad *** 1.6. I have something like 5k on the turbo. No oil in the intercooler, manifold looks great. Exhaust leaks around both flanges but thats a given when I didn't use thick enough flanges. I want v-bands. I'm cheap, so I doubt I will ever have them but still. Apparently there was a v-band version of the Holset turbos.
