Maybe thats why she said yes lol.

I seriously doubt she does. She is horrible at keeping secrets and would have blabbed already.

Was this supposed to be a build thread at some point?
I honestly forgot you had two vvt engines laying around.
Sorry I didn't end up making it out this year.
You still want a v6 t5 though right?

Yess. Maybe a couple. They are pretty rare out here. We will text about it in a bit. But I definitely want at least one. So if you see a good deal pop up snag it for me.

I was going to sell one of the VVT heads, but with the turbo i'm going with I'll probably build a bottom end, throw a stock head on. And have some fun. Then on the side port+build a second head to throw back one.

Current plan is a Wittyworks copy. Need to figure out placement. Hoping I can work with soviet to figure out exactly where it was placed.

If I can work up a jig I can work on a manifold without even having a built motor.

Nice improvement! I've read just about all of your build and can't remember why it looks like your engine is tilted up in the front more than usual? Like in post 7064

Must be the angle. I haven't done anything specific to do that.

Buying a direct fuel rail to AN6 adapter. So my Fuel rail to 1/4NPT is now for sale. It was stupid to get this one in the first place anyways when everything else is AN. Would make sense for someone who needed a barb.

What tires were you running at PIR?

You were sliding all over the place. Maybe I've just never been that close to the limit before, but I've never broke loose in my pos miata. Not sure if that's a bad or a good thing.

I really need to practice at/over the limit handling and reactions, I don't know how this chassis really moves? I'm not being clear, but do you know what I mean?

Your car seems to accelerate pretty good.

Waiiit, you have a full vvt engine? You interested in a trade? PM me if you wanna.

205 star spec z2.

This was my first day with ebc turned on. It was fun. I had actual torque.

Haha! I keep forgetting most people have power/torque in their miatas...

It did look like fun.

Things are moving along.

Props to @wpapallo. Fast shipping good communication. Worked with me. Turbo is on its way to me.

I have been in touch with @wittyworks and will be borrowing his old fixture that he used to make the manifold that soviet currently uses. That should be here in a few weeks.

I will probably be using 1.25" runners, I still have some left over from my last build. Need to pick up some PVC to practice cutting the merge collector because it's kind of complex.

Both flanges will be stainless. Not sure from where yet.

I also need to get a polishing wheel for my bench grinder. Would like to polish all the weldels before welding. Might even take a shot at the turbine housing.

Question for @Savington. Are the m8 inconel studs the one I want? Or should I be drilling out the turbine housing for m10 studs. I assume with the new kit the m8 studs are a regularly stocked item?

I have a na8 car in my driveway right now so once I get the fixture I will also be trying to squeeze a 3.5" downpipe in.

All this ****. And then I will just sit here without a built 1.8. oh well, cool pictures for you guys I guess.

Who would kill me first if I just put this on my 1.6 and ran 3psi of boost?
