THIS!

Just when I think fairyflower has finally put a method to the madness, he does bizzare **** like refuses to spend 300 on an im when he's got like 15k in his build.

OK so I am working on the fuel setup right now. I think I am going to do a little testing. Many people have told me that a single 044 should be enough for 800crank hp. I am going to put that to the test. I'll hook up my AFPR and upgraded pump wiring and see what the duty cycle is. I really don't think it will be enough, at least not with the factory fuel lines. Currently I see 75% DC in my hydra (can go up to 100% in hydra since it has an artificial DC ceiling of 80%) and factory fuel pressure is 60psi. If I'm at 450ish crank now then I need over 50% more fuel. :|

Ohhh haha

Actual scratch what I wrote on the above post. It will only be a little more work for the dual pump setup so I'm just going to put the second pump in.

I guess I will post up another writeup for dual pump and in tank removal but I wasn't planning on getting drunk until thursday night :(

Stock fuel ine?? Once again you cease to amaze me. Come on fae, why would you do such a f'n stupid thing???. Here's the deal, I'm running a single 044, with 80# of base pressure, I am also running e85, and you know the HP I am making. The 044 will be fine, especially if you run properly sized fuel line. I run -8 supply and -6 return. Why hamstring the 044's ability to move fuel by running lines? One other thing, I am using 10 gauge wire to power my pump on a 40 amp relay.

I already posted it earlier in my thread but it's buried now. This is the setup-

One pump running using stock fuel line and filter going to rail
Other pump running -6 fuel line and inline dinky filter going to rail
Bung welded on rail for -6 return to AFPR then -6 back to tank.

I am upgrading my wiring now too. I am not sure how to get the new fatty wire through the lid to the pumps. Ideas?

Not sure about how to pass the wires through, possibly some sort of electronic bulkhead fitting. I will see what I can find. My set up is outside the tank so I didn't need a solution for that problem.

Sean recommended some bulkhead grommets but the issue is finding ones that are fuel safe. I found this at Summit but it says made out of plastic. Would suck to order it and have it dissolve. I'm going to order it and plop it in some gas to see what happens.

I am also considering just drilling a hole that is just big enough and just jbwelding the wire in the hole.

That looks good to me, the gas cans I use at the track are plastic.

I'm removing the water neck on my head. Only hangup is that I am using the neck block-off-plate for my water temp sensor gauge.

Any recommendations for where to put the sensor? I could get a splice like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-2283/ or maybe weld a bung into my coolant reroute pipe?

Also, I am ordering a second exhaust venturi/slashcut. Since I had crankcase pressurization issues at 30psi I think this is necessary. My downpipe is gonna be megahellagangbanged with two widebands and two slashcuts.

I have a venturi if you need one just let me know. I am picking your junk up from the ceramic coating tonight I will get it to you tomorrow. Also I was thinking just a nice rubber grommet will work just make sure it is nice and tight on the wires. As long as you do not fill the tank to the point where it is coming out of the fill tube I think you will be fine.
