I didn't notice what circuit it was on. It was on the injector subharness though so is it a dampner for them?

Only got a little done today.

Put the engine on the stand and pulled the manifolds to paint it up.

Also started to modify my valve cover to fit the new coils. The valve cover needs to not only milled for the coils but a space needs to be welded back in once it's done.

Block looks good. Is it getting machined (or has it been already)?

More pics of the bay progress!

they were for my 1.6 setup which i am parting.
i will be building this engine eventually with stock (10.0:1) compression pistons custom made for boost and some weisco K1 rods or similar.

the pistons have been sold since then.
all i have remaining from that setup that i am selling is the turbo manifold, the long nose conversion and the block.

Looks good, is that battleship gray or some variant of it? What design are you going with for the manifold?

Did you do anything to the old seam sealer before you painted like remove the old stuff and put in new stuff or just paint over the old seam sealer?

Fae. Pm me. I am starting up a service.

Astro. I just scraped most of it off with a flat screwdriver, but I didn't put much effort into it.

Going with a top mount ramhorn.[/QUOTE]

Look at any top mount ramhorn.

There is 3-4 bends in each runner depending on design. (270 degrees total from the head flange) i have 14 bends.

I did buy more straight pipe than i needed to though. 4 feet. The collector fab will take ~6" of pipe after all of the trimming and such per runner =2 feet.

Gotpsi? do you fab those as well?

Yes I do and I was more referring to the strait pipe and not the elbows, you are right about the ram horns they take a lot.

cool, thanks.... i checked your website to see your ramhorns but i didnt see any.

i decided to buy more than i needed just in case. i found a supplier online who can supply me with this pipe and elbows for a good price and the metal is canadian so its not some china junk with messed metalurgy.
