Meh... I've at least got the build thread title to back it up.

Is that the $500 6 speed I was told about?

Yes.

That engine is screaming for a huge tarbo.

I made my buddy poop in the passenger seat on saturday. Came up over a rise in the road at full boil in 4th gear. Revs went up, *** end stepped out, he screamed like a girl.

This thing is begging for this suspension setup to be finished and the Star Specs dumped on. These Toyos are pretty much the worst thing i've ever driven. Super fun though!

I saw that... It's tempting. I could probably get away with that on the 5spd, too.

I think i'll just stick with ALLOFIT 2554r for the moment, though. Going to hook up VICS, maybe a boost controller, the 3" downpipe, and get the surfaces straightened this weekend. I kindof want to see what this little bastard will do before i think about changing it up.

Why not make your own? Options are cheap to cheapest using the stock topmost and adding bushings/washers. Mod to stock top hats was done on a $0 budget ITA Miata right before the race weekend and made a significant difference on the race track. Below that is a stock top hat modified similar to the ISC tops.

I have approximately zero fabrication skills.

I'd love to pay you $100 to make a set of those silver hats on the bottom, though.

Drops in, meant for boosted car. Same unit as MX6 GT, which seems to be ok at 24psi with a turbo about twice the size of this 2554r in my experience.

Send me the top hats and I'll lengthen them for you.

Orly?

Doesn't matter if NA or NB at that point, right? I don't have a spare set right now but i'm sure i could get some NAs for dirt cheap because nobody wants them.

Shouldn't, just tell me how much higher you want em and I'll lengthen them. I'll do it for whatever real cost of materials and shipping is.

I'd pay, assuming it could be done for cheaper than buying the NB ones. Seriously though, PM me with what you would charge for such a thing. I'd clean em up/paint em myself after you do it.

You should buy some Swank Force Racing 36/36 bumpstops to go with the Vtec Killer Racing top hats.

I would have to do Ben's first to even begin to know the costs of doing this FYI. Any figure as of now would be a complete guess.

After seeing the design of the NA/NB hats, I could make some spring retainers at the bottom, but again, I need to have them in my hands.
