The hood thing could be due to closing the hood with tools on the side rails, I've seen it before. If it's an aluminum hood I bet you could tweak it pretty easily to fit better though without hurting the paint or anything.

The wing sucks.

It's getting a KG Works spoiler, but i'm not sure yet if i'll need to get a new trunk lid or if the KGW will cover up the current holes.

Just drive it here Ben, I'll help you.
Heh if i had that kind of time, i'd probably take you up on it, but i'm pretty sure i can do the job on jack stands faster than a round trip out to you.

I may just pull the whole thing since i need to have the turbo/manifold resurfaced anyways. Would also make downpipe things easier.

I think i could probably do it in an hour or so on a 4 post, myself. Lots of

Is this the car getting the louvers? I'm picking up a smurf with hail damage to the hood on monday, and I happen to have a bare hood in my shop, so the timing is perfect. If you want to keep your stock hood we can hammer the **** out of the blue one and paint it.

If it hangs around, yes...

I'm actually trying to get rid of this car.

If so, they'll go on Gaijin Garbage, probably on a hacked up Simpson Design hood. (Gotta clear the motor somehow)

Haha, you hate red that much? **** it, let's keep the hood the same color and paint the rest of the car then.

Nah, i don't hate red THAT much. I would just rather have a 2zz/6spd MR-S, with the knowledge that the blue 93 Miata will be a turbo Miata anyways.

Don't see the point in two of them, though this car has been a great DD for the last few months.

You should buy it. It'd be a baller donor for your car.

Car is working well, though. Took it to MATG last month. Added GV knockoff lip for many swag points.

I don't know why i'm not getting notifications on this thread.

Basically the pretzel bacon cheeseburger is a bacon cheezburger on a pretzel bun. It's pretty OK as far as fast food goes, but i'm a sucker for pretzel buns.

Now, onto less important things:

SO, since nobody is buying this damn thing, i'm going to fix/modify/make hilarious some things. Then hopefully wad it up on track and part it out.

First order of business: Look at this ******* hideous engine bay.

Questions:

1) I'm guessing i can just pretty much remove ALL of the **** on the left, because Megasquirt.

2) MORE IMPORTANTLY, the intake filter on this thing doesn't clear the headlight motor at all. Surprise! Good news is that it's really dirty, and i don't give a **** about cleaning it. I want a new one. Input on what to get?

3) Chasing a random ignition misfire, seems to be triggered usually by bumps, so i'm sure it's a wiring issue. Anyone recognize the COP kit in the picture? I'd like to know who to blame when i uncover yet another shoddy wiring job.

It's not terrible, but I see my fair share of problems.

First, you can remove the charcoal canister and cruise control if you want. Then the wires on the far left and far right can be tucked up into the fender crevice a bit. Then I'd get rid of the lame looking recirc setup, try to get the radiator hose/IC pipe to interface a little better if at all possible (it looks like you could shorten it). Then just a good thorough scrubbing and you are set.

As for the misfire, have you been able to log the event? It might tell you something, like if the RPM signal spikes or something.

Haven't been able to log it yet. Have noticed that when I go over bumps sometimes the tach drops momentarily.

The radiator hose will be a non-issue once I get off my *** and install nb1 tb and re-route.

Looks like the same filter as mine. Can you rotate it? Mine only fits when rotated. Also, the outlet on mine is angled down slightly. Then again, my FM stuff doesn't suck.

Everything on the left can go.

Not sure if i can rotate it without fouling on the hood. I'll give it a shot.

Wondering at this point if my pipes are just garbage. Because Begi.

Yeah, that really irks me, but the idea is that i don't want to spend any real money on this thing, ever. (That's if current interested party doesn't purchase it this week.)

Is there an FS thread on this thing somewhere?

What's your problem?
