That's looking great Aidan, thanks for all your work.

Thanks Martin. Sometimes I feel progress has been slow.

Guyths I'm getting tired of working on my car. Roll bar installed last night. Oil cooler installed today, still need a new line and install the lines.

Yank took my downpipe for the repairs. VICS intake Mani set to arrive next Monday.

Lots of progress on installing the driver seat. What a horrible PITA.

Also, was anyone else aware that NB2 door cards don't fit NB1 doors? The door latch is in the wrong place. I was incredibly irritated when I discovered this. Looking for black NB1 door cards, but I'm also open to other suggestions/ideas for door cards.

Don't feel disheartened man, it's all worth it with the end results. I made a checklist of things to do so that I had something to look at and remind myself how close things are getting, keeps the Miata-less blues at bay.

Yes.

When should I pick up the exhaust stuff? I'll text you tomorrow.

It's in my trunk. When will you have the manifold? I'll trade you. I need to meet up with Aiden this week soon for the vr conditioner he built. I'm getting closer to a kitty spinning on my gauge cluster when I press the gas.
Ed, if I was going to order fittings for the lines between the tank and the NB fuel hardlines (both the feed and return) under the rear deck, what should I order? All I'm looking for is straights, 90s, etc. Fuel filter I've got covered.

For what it's worth, when Josh came over he told me to just re-use the OEM connectors. A quick slice with the razor blade on the molded plastic line and they come right out. He has re-used these connectors on all his previous builds and hasn't had an issue with it yet.

I am using 226 PSI rated 5/16" fuel hose and worm clamps... even without the worm clamps, I can't friggin' pull the hose off the fitting by hand once I've pushed it on. It's ON there.

So anyway, if you decide to NOT go that route... you'll need... 5 or 6 90* 5/16" fuel line clips. Part number is in Flounder's thread about it... It's... Dorman PN 800-081.5. You can order them from Summit or Amazon or whatever. I did use one straight connector somewhere too, but you could use a 90 there instead.

Hope this is clear as mud. I don't have a spreadsheet of it

I like building my own with Earl's perform-o-flex hose and swivel-seal hose ends, although it's not clear if that's technically E85-compatible or not.

I'm not cutting up the factory stuff so yeah, it gives me an idea of what to expect. That's why I pestered you about pics earlier
I was going to roll my own, I'm confident in my ability to not screw that up
Don't want to derail Ed's thread. Carry on guys

LOL @ derailing my thread. Thanks for the thought though.

I apologize for my lack of photos. If I get home from work at a decent time tonight then I'll take some pics.

It looks like on the feed side I can leave the line in place from the top of the tank to the filter, then make a short line from the filter to the hardline.
For the return side, I just go from the hardline back to the top of the tank. Easy peasy.
The only thing I was really looking for was the angles of the fittings that would be required and where exactly the line needs to run. I think I've got that now so while pics would be helpful, I'm not in dire need.

Yep. There's a couple write ups on how to "fix" it on miata.net. General gist of it is that if you straighten the rods a bit you should be able to get enough play to move it to NB2 location. Might need some light drill work. Up to you if you want to do it.
