Maybe. I'm adding a proper lift to the new garage, and hopefully that will make installing the butterfly bit significantly less of a PITA, so maybe I'll use it after all.

I went with the FM braces and have no regrets. My car is pretty low and I still have yet to scratch the rails. Still nice knowing if I do, rust is not an issue.

We don't believe in speed bumps in Utah though, so maybe I haven't had the chance to test clearance.

My FM frame rails are pretty scarred up. Glad it was those that hit the speed bumps rather than the underbody.

Remember the <strike>Alamo</strike> PPF? I tend to think like this.

But for me, I just don't like rust. Avoidance of said rust is big to me. Hence the love of Stainless.

Yeah, I think it'd be silly to put rustable material there. All sorted though. Ordered brake pads... I think I'm done ordering for a while.

<br />At the hospital with dad this morning though. Passed out while brushing his teeth this morning. Hopefully a fairly easy solution, but ER + cat scan - insurance = ouch.

OCD...the slow silent killer...of your time, sanity, and checkbook. Sorta like Meth, without the slow turn into a zombie.

My goal this winter is to start to Jeff my car. WWJC (what would Jeff clean) goes through my head on every install. I have a mental checklist for when the car goes into hibernation mode

When I put my new trans in last week. I lightly scrubbed it with purple power. Sent a picture to Jeff and he was so proud of me. Such a waste of time. Nobody can see it anymore.

Jeff has already offered. I clean the wheels and the engine bay. That's about it. I think if I had a steam cleaner I might try harder. But I hate scrubbing.

<p>And thanks, ofspunk, Dad is vertical so that's good. Couldn't find out why he passed out twice, two cat scans proved inconclusive, so he's wearing a heart monitor for a couple days.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Fun times.</p>
