Alright, i've gotta work overtime Saturday, but i'm not staying all day. 3pm latest.

From what i saw in that video, it doesn't look or sound like an exhaust leak.
While you may have a leak, that popping is something else. Seems like it just needs to be tuned.
But that means i need to get my *** in gear.

So the problem was related to the coils or the tuning within the ms. To determine this I switched back to stock ignition and imagine that it works no popping.

This is why you always change one thing at a time. Not that I abide by that rule myself.. (see build thread), but it is definitely sound advice.

Glad it works with no popping. Run stock ignition for now and enjoy a little boost!

Definitely is bogging there, I just assumed it was completely untuned. Certainly isn't popping like it was before at least.

i reset the map and took the video before i reset the timing, so it was off. took it for a ride down the street without the hood on it and was hitting boost cut or something but i havent messed with that.

yep, at that point it was almost done though. but for the next time i will definitely do things one at a time.
as for tuning im going to do some road tuning tomorrow, cant really do any full throttle runs till the clutch is broken in. so 100-200ish miles.

It's currently reading ambient air temp till Saturday. Just trying to get it roughed in and the clutch somewhat broken in before next week.

After messing with the tune a bit and getting it kinda dialed in i have a phantom rev limiter at ~4000rpm. And unfortunately any time my laptop is hooked up and it hits this phantom rev limit it disconnects the laptop from the MS. the regular rev limit is set to 7k and over boost is at 180kpa. But its a hard cut and doesn't seem to be affected by boost.

I wonder if Braineack will ask you to post a datalog and/or composite log of the event.

Nah, you're smarter than that.

If it DC's the laptop, the ECU / car is probably loosing power for that second.
