Drove about 180miles to visit my grandparents. Melted the master cylinder, was meaning to do a heat shield and heat tape just haven't yet. I guess I have no choice now.

You going to unlock your fixed timing now and actually enjoy the car?

im suggesting you arent using a timing table, your timing is locked at 10°, and your EGTs are skyrocketing turning your turbo into a cherry-red master cylinder melting inferno all while making sure your car is slow as ****.

Not locked in at 10, while I'm sure my egt's were extremely High I think Most of it was caused by not having a heat shield.

+1, I didn't have one for hundreds of miles and mine never melted at all.

I do have one now though, for peace of mind.

if you didn't forget to go back to the table after initial timing, then you completely botched the sync.

pulled up my tuning laptop and sure enough apparently the sync didnt go through and it was locked in at 10 degrees static timing. good call brain, i will fix it when i go back to fix the melted master cylinder.
Weird thing is with the car locked in at 10 base it was still faster than my 92 greddy car ever was lol.

I went back to my grandparents and switched out master cylinders, got a heat shield fabed up, added some cool tape, fixed my retard mistake timing. this is what I came up with

Eventually I might add a turbo blanket and exhaust wrap. Not 100% sure I want to do that or not though. It drove fantastic all the way home.
