I've added 20% already for the e85 compensation, and tried various timing between 0-14. No dice.

If it was mine, I'd add even more fuel.

it runs sorta...
i can get it started but it acts as if its running on 2cyl. i have to hold the throttle to keep it running. im going to try wiring the cops in wasted spark to see if it will run correctly. heres a data log of it running horribly any advice would be apreciated.

Your RPM curve is not smooth. Looks like you are having some sensor problems (crank I assume).
One thing looks odd to me. Your log shows a 'timing error'. And it's usually an actual number other than 0. My logs don't show that. They only have 'timing error %' and it's usually 0.
But I never ran sequential spark and I'm running MS3X, so this may explain the difference. Anyway- you may want to post your ignition setup for some of the smarter guys to look at.

The question was I'm getting spark across all 4cyl but it acts like its running on 2? Any ideas where to start?

I don't know of a good way to test them but they were working just fine when I drove it into the garage last week. Holding good fuel pressure 50-60psi. Wideband is reading a steady 13.6 while cranking.

Update it now runs without forcing it to
Revrant told me to change the required fuel to 3.6 since i am running e85, fixed a faulty pin on the connector i assembled for the coil on plug harness, i also fixed the intake cam ( it was 1 tooth advanced). and then it ran.
quick question, Fowler did you have problems with the downpipe contacting the steering shaft? on my car it is vibrating against it.
Now it is time to go through and get the clutch broken in and then tune it.

quick walkaround teaser video

No sir I did not. My car was a 93 but aren't the 94-97s similar? I am pretty positive it was not making contact, didn't you have it undone at one point? Not sure if it can be bolted up wrong or not lol

i dont think there as any adjustment that way though, weird. may send abe a pm and see what he says.
other sidenote it feels like there is a something pulling the motor down hard, it wouldnt build over 3psi on a super rich light pull. not sure whats up with that. maybe timing table stuff?

My stuff pretty much bolted on no problems, I'm positive our cars were identical so I don't know what's going on.

You may be bogging the motor with all that fuel, ve analyze live!

the sub frames are slightly different between 90-93 and 94+ but i think they just added some bracing, not changed the whole thing. im going to look at the mounts and make sure i don't have them too low. tunned a bit before the pull but nothing anywhere close to what i need to do, doing that in the am, not a big fan of tuning in the dark.

Part of the problem is an exhaust leak, manifold to block I believe. Fowler were you running a exhaust manifold gasket?

you better have a factory metal gasket between the manifold and block...

I do have the MLS gasket on there, so I must be leaking elsewhere.
