Thought didn't even cross my head. I need to look into that. If it is something that small I'm going to punch myself.

I'll bet it is SOMETHING small, cause, there's no good reason for them not to work. :-) Perhaps digging into the logs, there's some safety somewhere triggering.

Megasquirt : Injector Dynamics Support

Yay! It took like 18 emails and 4 screens of spreadsheets and BAM, instant motivation. You can get solid MS-specific information on ID1000's here. It's actually a spreadsheet where it's based on your fuel pressure.

I actually couldn't find an area for it to be setup as low ohm. Where is that menu section in tuner studio?

If you have MS3Pro you don't have it. I think it's only on the full sized boxes, MS3Pro and Microsquirt don't have the hardware for it.

Hmmmm, I don't know where they hide it. I can try to look on my old laptop which has projects for MS2 stuff. Anyone? Might be under general settings....

You should really make a thread for this, I don't think it's small pulsewidths, by definition, that only happens at idle.

So I'm guessing that this build is "done and done" and all the lessons learned are correct and true, with no rethinking? ;^)

I did some forum sleuthing, but my search fu is weak this morning (too much halloween candy because we have no kids in the neighborhood any more), but I couldn't find anything on the rear bumper treatment you have Soviet. Can you assist me with a link or a new post with details?

I also bought m6 to 3an adapters (like this) but haven't plumbed it fully yet.
So I've looked into this one and I know that Lokiel had some pretty solid problems with the Forge (read here, starting on page 41) and also the Turbosmart. I'm also reading the Forge leaks out the bottom chamber via the shaft seal?

I know you are a smart guy and have probably seen all of this, but I'm begging for updates when this comes together because I really want to run the 2 port/4 port combo as well with my IWG EFR as well

My problem with the Forge wastegate had more to do with the fact that I'd re-clocked the the turbo beyond the EFR6258's "2 degrees-from-default" recommendation (don't recall the exact value but it's around 2 degrees) so that it was causing the wastegate hinge mechanism to bind. I needed the wastegate actuator shaft to be able to twist for it to function correctly with my setup.

ie. It should be OK if you haven't re-clocked your turbo beyond 2* from default.

I haven't had time to do anything on the car, I only played with the wastegate via a vaccum pump. I'm getting married in August and no fun allowed until then. But after that....

Anyways, with the vaccum pump, the bottom chamber does leak from the shaft seal. I may put an o-ring on it or something, I dunno. I think it also leaks from the union of bottom and top parts - I
ll put some silicone on it.

Congrats on the marriage! Don't listen if she tries to convince you to sell your Miata though!

Welcome to the club, it's a good club to be in.

PSH silly vacuum operated wastegates. We need electronic waste gates up in here. Something cheap too.

I'm certainly not arguing that one. Someone on here did one and posted it up, but I can't find it at the moment.
