If you watched his hearing today, he claims that he only shot after Trayvon was reaching for his gun, and after no one answered HIS calls for help.
Remember, Zimmerman was pinned to the GROUND screaming for help when Trayvon was shot from below.

A) Do you believe there is any chance whatsoever that the following scenario is plausible?
- Zimmerman, sick of neighborhood break-ins and vandalism, decides to play beat cop on his way home.
- He notices a male walking between houses, with his hood up.
- He gets out of his truck and decides he's going to be a hero by catching one of those "punk kids."
- He loses sight of Martin after Martin runs.
- Martin gets pissed at being chased by some out of shape nosy neighbor and comes back to confront Zimmerman.
- Martin drops Zimmerman with one shot and decides he's going to be the one teaching a lesson.
- Zimmerman realizes he is a badass only when playing Xbox Live, fears he is going to get curb-stomped in to a coma or a coffin and pulls his weapon and fires.
Please note that it is confirmed by the 911 tapes to this point (unless someone has shown otherwise) that Zimmerman ended his pursuit of Martin when instructed to do so and the fatal confrontation happened afterward.

I almost pulled a Zimmerman last weekend. I awoke at 4am to a girl yelling through the apartment well, and I had endless pounding on the door. Then I repeatedly heard "open the ------- door" over and over. Finally, after I grabbed the gun and went outside I heard "police, open the door!" I almost became a statistic.
My point is that people seem to have this idea that Zimmerman was some rogue cavalier guy who wanted to go teach someone a lesson. It was probably more of a case like what I experienced where something was going down and I was man enough to do something about it than let someone get hurt.

No blood on the Z-man's shirt from a supposedly "broken nose", and even a clear shot of his head doesn't reveal any of the supposed damage from the video shot. OH ----! And unlike the last video/photo, this one doesn't need the stupid "enhancements" to try to speculate what might be! And wait, what appeared to be a gash? Its going to be a real shame to see the "outrage" over this case fizzle and no one responsible for race-baiting will be punished for what they've done. Race-baiters managed to turn an alleged "latino on black" crime into a white supremacy problem...wow, that takes talent.
