Russ, I really wanted to go with that exact performer x mani but for the price of the BLOX, it just wasnt worth it. Now, if you try it and it yields better gains, then ill get one.

Because you enjoy hemorrhaging money.

Well I still want to see what kind of gains on a blox VS stock. If it's a large gain then I'll get the cheaper one. If it's just a bit I'd rather give the performer X a try.

Blox is a Skunk2 knock off.

The Performer X is generally considered "better" for at least naturally aspirated applications. How much better on a boosted Miata? I'd wager it has more to do with the fab skills of whoever puts it together than the manifold itself at that point.

That is because the ports are much smaller. IIRC this is a D-series Performer X on top of a factory B16 intake manifold:

Forget about the port sizes on the Honda mani's. They're all larger than on the Miata heads.

I know, I was just pointing out the reason why b-series manifolds show better flow numbers than d-series.

I assume you tuned for the manifold? If so, do you know why it so much more fuel below 4.5k RPM? Interesting.

probably because he was too lean and wasnt making much power because of it.

you can see in those areas where it is richer the power is much smoother now... probably the difference between a street tune and a dyno tune.
