Ok, so I figured it out finally on the SS vs the 1LE package.
The 1LE gets: - fancy black hood - recalibrated TC systems - specially tuned magnerhetorical dampers vs the normal mag shocks you can order as an option - electronically controlled diff vs the standard LSD - 285/305 Goodyear F1 tires in specific construction/compound to the 1LE package vs the stock 245/275 (obviously different forged wheels as well) - bigger brakes front and rear, fronts get 2 piece rotors and 6 piston calipers, 4 piston in the back............standard SS is 4 piston Brembo's upfront with normal sliding in the rear (I think) |
Posted this in the ramble on thread but figured it belongs here as well since crawford is mostly a subaru company
https://ecoblockspacer.com/ This popped up on my instagram and it just seems like pure snake oil. Opinions? |

so much for crawford being "reputable" I asked a question on their instagram page and I'm half expecting my comment to be deleted and to find that I've been blocked lmao |
since when was crawford reputable? like ever?
You go on nabisco, bunch of people screwed over and drama. Go on the twins forums, bunch of people screwed over, cars blown up, and drama. Even if you watch farrah review their turbo brz, the thing ran like crap and had tons of issues. this is a car they built as an advertisement to their company. they've sucked for a long time. dunno who would even call them reputable |

yeah, and sponsored that terrible series of dorifto videos
|
Totally well known fact that OEM's spend bajillions of dollars, and then insurance companies make them loose 20% performance, and 8% gains with there spacer. For sure.

It takes a lot of balls to be that bold in ripping people off. I'm impressed

Someone talk me out of getting a new wrx next year...

You haven't even fixed your msm

You seem to be confused about the purpose of this website.
MSM is a lost cause.
But in reality, I know I want both. Strip the msm and do megasquirt + fuel and make it a track rat. |
Oh, I know you want both. This is why my solution is so elegant, it hits all the points perfectly ;)
Besides, you are in Texas! They'll totally believe it! (FYI: I'm from California, I have nothing against democrats or mexicans, I just assume this is how Texas operates based on what the media tells me. Plus my humor gets weird when I've been drinking  ) |

Because they're terrible. Subaru ownership is that terrible live decision that every car guy has to make at least once before they done learned their lesson. "subaru guys" just have stolhom syndrome.

I've had 8 subaru's, and despite few and far between frustrations, overall loved all of them and will definitely get another sometime. In addition to the crowd mower that I currently have and also really really love. My next will likely be an 11-14 sti hatch. But I'm kinda a subaru nerd, and have built and tuned well over a few hundred of them over the past 10 years.
....That said, I'm still really not comfy with the 15+ wrx and all the new FADIT stuff they're doing with it. It will likely take them 2-3 years and the next revision to really figure out what they're doing. |
Missing 4th and 5th pictures. I'll dig for em later
