Aidan's loose oily bunghole actually runs a track lap
Too late for you, but I will never understand why people add RTV to paper gaskets. It just serves to **** off the next guy who has to work on it. If your paper gasket leaks, you didn't prep the surface carefully enough. The only places I use RTV on my engines are the oil pan and the corners of the valve cover, as per the FSM. Everywhere else relies on proper prep technique and standard gaskets.

To each their own. I'll be the next one working on it. And I'll take being pissed off over some peace of mind about it sealing.
Just a suggestion. If you put your paint pen marks down the side of the bolt and onto what you are bolting on. You can use them as witness marks later to see if the fastener has turned.

Thanks! I'll do that on some of the more important bolts. A lot of these are just to remind myself as I am building this over a few days.

2 flywheel bolts threaded quite far in (don't want to trash thre threads). Prybar between the bolts. Roomate pushing prybar, me pushing torque wrench.

Should be good to go. I bought 2. But forgot to measure this one before I put it in. Oh well. Its something I'l have in the spares box, and order a new one if I use it.

Here is the link to a 25 pack of upper o rings.

And what I believe to be the lower o rings used for head to injector.

If somebody knows what the upper injector o-ring (between the injector and the adapter) size is that would be great.

I'm slightly worried about my custom fuel rail leaking, so that may be sooner than I hoped.

Shims showed up. Back 4 needed about 3 hours of grinding. Front 4 I was able to get into spec without grinding.
Front 4 exhaust are done. So 4 more rear shims and some cleaning and seal installing and the head will be ready.
