Are you using a caustic soda to etch the surface a bit before anodizing?
Nickel electroplating plating kits are cheap, I still have some solution. Don't need much more than a 6V lantern battery or walwart for small parts like this.

I bought my solution from this guy here. The kit is really basic, if you read up on the process you can buy what you need for less elsewhere. The hardest part is making sure the voltage is right, so you don't build up sharp corners too much. I was flipping little square brass blocks quite a bit to get them even.

I would never do nickel at home. Nickel sulfamate is nasty ****. You do not want that crap in your home.
Edit: that ebay kit is highly illegal to ship. That stuff is toxic as hell. The only thing worse in our plant is the potassium dichromate, which is one step away from Erin Brockovitch stuff.

I don't think these kits use sulfamate, wouldn't it be nickle sulfate?
Here's another kit, they ship this stuff fine?

For $19.99 you can buy the same fitting in 303 stainless from PRL Motorsports . I've had one on my car for over a year.

Yea trackspeed is offering the same thing to, but neither is deep enough for the saturn sender tip. I could have modified either but i had the hex laying around and the threading tools.
Not much new if you search enough... Be careful tightening it up. Because the hex is so big the tendency to put a long wrench on and overtourqe is real. Sucks to pull pieces of broken fittings out of an oil supply.

Curlys not gonna let it die, and he's probably right. Aidan, install a larger radius on there.
edit- or send it back to the manufacturer for repair...
