Found my old dyno plot before I knew anything at all about tuning (not sure I know that much now).
9psi! GT3071! FTW!

Got a vacuum leak tester.
Found a small leak on one of my hotside couplers.
Then found a huge leak on #4 injector. Soapy water really works! This probably explains the limp disk boost taper I have. I hope so because it would be nice to hold a psi to redline and would prevent ruler flat hp graphs like the one I put down earlier this year.
Aaarrrghhh save me finishlineperformance!

Lesson of the day is, "just because your fuel rail doesn't leak fuel it doesn't mean you installed everything correctly".

i would get one that fits the OD of the injector and the ID of the casting. besides that it really doesnt matter.
The standard one for the ID injectors is your best bet though. Just use some lube to get it in without tearing up. I the injectors are bosch ev14 modified by Injector Dynamics.

I considered replacing the ID1000 with ID2000. But a set is ******* ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. FOAD.
You can get a set of 1680cc or 2150cc EV14s from Fuel Injector Clinic. The 1680cc are $695 and the 2150cc are $780. You should have no problem selling your ID1000s overnight.

BTW regarding your question about "why not run more timing", I must be doing the WI wrong if I can only run 16* @ 6000RPM and 25psi. I will work on it some more when my car is back on the road.
Every car/setup/owner is different. I'm a firm believer in the make a change then put the car on the dyno, then make another change and put the car on the same dyno, etc...I always found out what worked, what didn't and exactly how much power the changes made.
Too bad making dyno pulls is retarded expensive. At the rate Fae changes his setup He'd probably have the same money in dyno pulls as he did in parts/mods.

Yup and that's what I'm going to do when I pour in the meth. After I street tune. I think meth will be easier than the gasoline. With 100% meth the plan will be to trim fuel to 12.5:1ish and add enough meth to see 10.5:1ish. Yes that will be rich but that's 20% meth and safe enough to cover for any blips that aren't caught by the WI failsafes. Then see how much timing I can add without knock and then check results on dyno.
ID2000 are not an option at this time. I don't have $1000 for ******* injectors. We'll see how far the new fuel system takes me with the ID1000s. If there's eternal wheelspin then enough's enough.
Hotside setup is done, or at least done enough for me to put it on the car.

I will run the open downpipe first to see how loud it is. If it's ******* awesome then I'll just do a straight pipe out the rear. If it is horrible then magnaflow/full boar whatever here I come.
After I get the setup back I gotta swap out the QSV for the race one.

Ever hear a stock miata with it's muffler cut off? That's about what it'll sound like, except with spool noises and more power. Did it myself until I reached the muffler shop, unbearably loud. Turbo only muffles about the same as a cat.
Hey you should run solid stainless line from your meth tank to the engine compartment it will take care of any thought you have about it leaking. The braided line degrades with meth to the point you will be replacing it in 2 years. Solid line for the win.
