cute. which cult is this one exactly?
Believe. Have Faith. Conviction. Credence Clearwater.
How come I've been labelled anti-science when I simply question the current science? It does seem to change often -- eventually I'll be right, recent history has proven this often.

One of Pfizer’s Bold Moves is to create a workplace for all, and we are committed to increasing diversity by fostering a more inclusive workplace. To build this, Pfizer has launched a Breakthrough Fellowship Program – a nine-year commitment to increase minority representation at Pfizer, designed to enhance our pipeline of diverse leaders. The Breakthrough Fellowship Program, first-of-its-kind, works to advance students and early career colleagues of Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic and Native American descent with a goal of developing 100 fellows by 2025.
...
I’m not from a minority group identified for the Breakthrough Fellowship Program; what opportunities are available to me?
• Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer. We have multiple programs and opportunities throughout the year for undergraduate and graduate students and for Pfizer colleagues generally. For example, any colleague can pursue an MBA or MPH through Pfizer Benefits’ Education Assistance Program. We also host MBA students each summer, more information on this program can be found here. Undergraduates and graduate students who are not eligible or interested in the Breakthrough Fellows Program but would like to pursue a career at Pfizer can apply to the Summer Growth Experience Program and/or create a job alert on our Pfizer.com/Careers page to receive email or text notifications when positions are opened.
3. What are the requirements of program applicants?
• Be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident • Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of award) and an expected graduate of December ’23 or Spring 2024 • Committed interest & intent to pursue an MBA, MPH or MS Statistics • Apply to a Breakthrough Fellowship Intern opportunity via Pfizer.com/Careers search ‘Breakthrough’. • Have a 3.0 GPA or above • Meet the program’s goals of increasing the pipeline for Black/African American, Latino/Hispanic and Native Americans. • Demonstrate exceptional leadership potential • Willingness to work in the NYHQ office or at a Pfizer location identified in the job posting

EV TROOF
For example, as the experts at powerthefuture.com point out, here are 10 facts about EVs the Left doesn’t want Americans to know:
1. EVs are powered by fossil fuels. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), fossil fuel-based power plants — coal, oil, or natural gas — create about 60% of the nation’s electrical grid, while nuclear power accounts for nearly 20%.
2. The batteries of EVs rely on cobalt. An estimated 70% of the global supply of cobalt emanates from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a country with deplorable working conditions, especially for children.
3. A study released earlier this year by an environmental group showed that nearly one-third of San Francisco’s electric charging stations were non-functioning. The population of San Francisco represents roughly two percent of California.
4. Supporters of the California law admit there will be a 40% increase in demand for electricity, adding further strain to the grid and requiring increased costs for power and infrastructure.
5. According to one researcher, the strain of adding an EV is similar to adding “1 or 2 air conditioners” to your home, except an EV requires power year-round.
6. Today, 20 million American families, or one in six, have fallen behind on their electric bills, the highest amount ever.
7. Utility companies will need to add $5,800 in upgrades for every new EV for the next eight years in order to compensate for the demand for power. All customers will shoulder this cost.
8. The average price for an electric vehicle is currently $66,000, up more than 13% in just the last year, costing an average of $18,000 more than the average combustible engine. Meanwhile, the median household income is $67,521. For African American families, the average is $45,870, and for Hispanic households, $55,321.
9. A 2022 study found that the majority of EV charging occurs at home, leaving those who live in multi-family dwellings (apartments) at a real disadvantage for charging.
10. The same study also noted that many drivers charge their EVs overnight when solar power is less available on the grid.

I'm using it exactly as it's intended to be used.

The bill, known as the Fast Act, would establish a panel with members appointed by the governor and legislative leaders composed of workers, union representatives, employers and business advocates. They would set hourly wages of up to $22 for fast food workers starting next year and can increase them annually by the same rate as the consumer-price index, up to a maximum of 3.5%.

California Fast Food Wages Would Be Set by Government Under Bill Passed by State Legislature
Representatives for chains including McDonald’s persuaded Legislature to remove provision holding them liable for labor violations by franchisees
California’s Legislature passed a bill Monday to create a government panel that would set wages for an estimated half-million fast food workers in the state, a first-in-the-U.S. approach to workplace regulation that labor union backers hope will spread nationally. The bill, known as the Fast Act, would establish a panel with members appointed by the governor and legislative leaders composed of workers, union representatives, employers and business advocates. What we're seeing is Central Planning....planning based on fealty to their far Left base and regulations enacted in order to enrich their donors. It's like we're on a dinghy in the Atlantic, watching the Titanic sail towards the iceberg.
